‘Susic inches away from Inter’

Hajduk Split director Goran Vucevic confirms that Tino-Sven Susic will join Inter by the end of this month.

The 22-year-old Bosnian talent has been increasingly linked with a switch to the black and blue half of San Siro in recent weeks and has already stated his desire to join the team.

His current side’s sporting director, Vucevic, who declared only yesterday that he ‘could not reveal the details’, has now stated that a deal looks imminent.

“Susic is inches away from signing with Inter, this is all that I can say on the topic,” he said, in an interview with the Spanish publication Estadio Deportivo.

“There were talks with Sevilla, but nothing concrete happened. It’s not true that they submitted a higher bid than the Nerazzurri.

“I've been to Milan twice to close the deal. [Coach] Roberto Mancini and [sporting director] Piero Ausilio both agree on his signing, but we've been asked for time so they could fix some things within their team.

“But by the end of the month we are expecting his arrival in Milan. Many clubs have expressed interest in him but he has chosen Inter and this will be his destiny.”

Anyone seemed the game vs Napoli? Brozovic seemed to me an undernourished copy of Kuzmanovic.

I didn't mind the game we played to be honest. I think we are having quite an unlucky patch ... plus the players are seriously lacking concentration. Ranocchia's error on the goal was a classic example. Apart from this goal, we were always conceding fast counter attacks after own corners ... unbelievable.

United ready €40m Icardi bid

Manchester United apparently prepare €40m for Inter's Mauro Icardi as a possible replacement for Radamel Falcao, who does not rule out a move to Italy.

Italian media are picking up on British reports that the Red Devils are in the lead for the Nerazzurri talent, in spite of claims by director Piero Ausilio that the player is ‘married to Inter’.

The Daily Express suggests that Louis van Gaal’s side are willing to offer up to £30m, around €40m, for the player as a replacement for Radamel Falcao, who is linked with a return to Monaco at the end of his loan.

Falcao in turn may be open to moving to an Italian club, as his agent Jorge Mendes, interviewed by ESPN, recently declared.

“If Falcao doesn't stay with United, he will go in another of the five-six top clubs in the world,” Mendes has said, as relayed by Tuttojuve.com.
