I think I've probably smoked weed twice in the last 10 years and the last time five years ago or more. Which isn't to say I'd turn down a joint should opportunity present. Neither Dante nor Petrarch appeared to me on either of those occasions.

I'm not sure I've had weed much more than a dozen times in my life. I quite enjoy it and I do think it's a mistake that society by and large seems to think it's a gateway to more harmful drugs rather than a parallel to cigarettes and booze. I think it'd be much less the former if society considered it the latter.

All of that I agree with. Rube haven't done too badly in the league over the past few seasons with a side with its share of Italians. It helps, of course, that the Italian refs are also on their side and that the players are pumped full of all sorts of dodgy drugs. I wonder how much worse Curci would have done for us than the others who've been in goal over the years. Bertolacci's another I'd like to see given more of a chance - probably more than Cerci, actually, though hard as I am on Cerci I find it hard to believe he'd have been a big downgrade on the various players who've played down the wings for us over the past three seasons (and more).
