Thohir to invest €200m

Inter President Erick Thohir has been cleared by Goldman Sachs bank to buy out the club and clear its debts.

According to Italian media sources, the Indonesian businessman, who assumed the Nerazzurri presidency late last year, will invest €200m into the club.

The money will in part be used to rid the San Siro giants of debts incurred under previous President Massimo Moratti, as well as officially confirm Thohir as the majority shareholder of the club.

Attention will then turn to this summer’s transfer market, with Inter expected to heavily strengthen as they look to challenge for a return to the Champions League next season.

Well done to Thohir. He is continuing to make the club more healthier (in a financial state) and we will be much better for it in the coming seasons. He is also planning on getting 30-40mil from investors in Asia for this transfer window.
Also, in the coming days it is expected that Rano will be announcing a new contract (until the end of 2017). Hopefully him being named the new captain will be part of the conference.

Ince turns down Inter

Tom Ince has reportedly ended speculation that he is to join Inter by saying his immediate future lies in England’s Premiershit.

The young attacking-midfielder is out of contract with Blackpool this summer and recently flew out to Italy to hold talks with the San Siro giants over a potential move to the peninsula.

Ince’s father Paul himself once played for the Nerazzurri, but it has now been confirmed that for the time being at least, his son will not be emulating him.

“After lengthy discussions with my family, I’ve decided that my immediate footballing future will be in the Premiershit,” Ince reportedly told Sky Sports.

I don't think Lazio can afford Mancini's salary.

I think Milan are using their minds going after players that are free agents or that are not 'stars' in their team. I think we should go after someone like Jovetic. His price would be down after a full season on the bench. He's also young and talented with the bonus that he has already played in Serie A.

Lazio will get Pioli. Mancini will most probably sit out a season.

I don't like Milan's policy... or rather the players they got under this policy.
Jovetic is a player I like but his injury history would scare me to death in case I had to spend all the summer's budget on him. I'd rather search for someone with maybe less natural talent and more consistency. Chicarito seems to be the ideal move, but I doubt he'll ever come here. Pretty sure other EPL clubs would be more than willing to offer him a better contract.
I'm currently just waiting to see who the real targets are. It's the first real transfer session under Thohir & Ausilio, so I expect they're willing to impress.

L'Inter avrebbe deciso di fare del Prato una sua società satellite, mandando in Toscana gran parte dei suoi giovani a maturare.

"Invece di disperderli in varie squadre pagando fior di valorizzazioni, meglio raggrupparli in un unico club e sostenerlo, consentendo anche al club stesso di poter sopravvivere. Un po’ quello che la stessa Inter aveva fatto anni fa - ma con risultati disastrosi (fallimento del club) – con lo Spezia. Invece il management di Erick Thohir ci vuol riprovare con una gestione più diretta e mirata, con uomini di fiducia a portarla avanti", scrive la Gazzetta dello Sport.

Il Prato giocherà nella prossima Lega Pro unica e l'allenatore è quel Vincenzo Esposito ex tecnico della Primavera nerazzurra. L'Inter potrebbe dirottare nel club del presidente Toccafondi molti giovani usciti dalla Primavera, con l'obiettivo di portare la squadra toscana magari in Serie B e farla crescere ulteriormente. Novità sono attese in settimana.

‘Mazzarri blocked M’Vila move’

Rai claim that Inter Coach Walter Mazzarri has blocked his club’s potential signing of Ruben Kazan’s Yann M’Vila.

The French midfielder was reportedly in Milan ready to join the San Siro giants but, according to journalist Ciro Venerato, the Nerazzurri boss cancelled the deal.

“M’Vila arrived in Milan and was waiting to sign a contract with Inter,” he told Radio Crc.

“The problem is that the Nerazzurri are in difficulty because Mazzarri reiterated he didn’t want him and blocked the medical.

“In that part of the pitch the Inter Coach wants Behrami or Mbia. Mazzarri had already expressed his doubts about the player, behaviour wise too, but Inter went ahead with it.

“When they saw that signing Behrami would be difficult they went for M’Vila.”

The journalist also revealed that Napoli are monitoring the situation.

“Napoli are trying to understand how to secure the player up against international competition. So if the deal with Inter falls through, Napoli will be ready to make an important offer to the player.

“It’s not often that a player has arrived in a city for a medical, only for it to be blocked!”
