Insigne is one of the few players that can beat a man. It will be immoble vs destro i think.

DCG...I know Motta has been good and he has developed quite a solid partnership with Verratti....I just dont like him, something bugs me about him.

Destro is quite good, but i think Immobile deserves it simply by being top scorer (no PKs if i remember correctly)

Gianni, Toni has had a great season but i'm with Ed on this one.

Also Ed, Florenzi would have been great in there but given that he isn't i'd keep Insigne in, and drop Destro

Florenzi's suffered from the role he's been playing for Garcia. Prandelli can't really pick him as a midfielder when he's been playing as a forward all season (and when Garcia clearly thinks he's not really quite suited for the possesso-palla side of a midfield three) and Insigne's technique means he can change the game from the bench in ways Florenzi never could. Florenzi's greatest strength is what he gives you for 75 minutes (or 90), not for 20.

Agree, Insigne offers something different. He'd be one of the first names on my sheet to be honest.

Not sure on Immobile vs Destro. I'd be fine with either and think Prandelli prefers Immobile.

Good points on Florenzi, he does work hard all the way through. I thought he'd be a good option to bring on to inject a bit of energy late in the game, and also to cover a good few different roles. Insigne can beat a man and can offer something different but he hasn't done in much in what I've seen of him this season. He's had a rather poor season hasn't he?

Everything points toward Prandelli dropping Destro. Like with Florenzi, I'd wonder if that would happen if he played for Juventus and not Roma. Thats what its come to with Prandelli. I'd drop Cassano and bring both Destro and Immobile.

Well, then be clear. You are supporting Italy but find it hard to do so because of the coach. Is that it? Or, we've been duped in to thinking you are an Italy supporter even though you support the poms. Which is it?
