hey guys, sorry i was away. been in paris for a week. had two interviews with two of the biggest audit internationals and came back with two offers. now the question is which one do i choose, if any? paris isn't all it's cracked up to be, to be sure. i took a lady friend there, and it was actually disastrous at times. more on that throughout the day. i have another interview coming up tomorrow and a phone interview sometime this week two with a reinsurance firm in florida, so big changes are imminent for me.

anyway, i am thrilled we won 4-2 against those argies and we have our second piece of silverware this season. unfortunately, i couldn't get to see any games all week.

And hows it going children...been kind of busy preparing for all sorts of exams...i haven't been posting because my computer crashed though...

Good going tec, actually my cousin works in France and he's begun to really like the place. He's been there for just about 6 months and he already considers it home (of sorts). Kind of crazy considering he was just a simple Indian village boy who couldn't even speak English till he was 21 (he's 24 now); now he speaks more languages more fluently than me...go figure...

Good to see good things happen to Milan as well...I missed the Club world cup but from the highlights it looked like a Kaka orchestrated show...What a player..fully deserved all them awards heaped on him this year.

I only hope the team doesn't become complacent after this. Its almost as if we've come full circle...everything seemed lost, we win the CL, we get our revenge on both Pool and Boca...
TBH the only trophy I want this team to win now is the Scudetto; seems out of the question for the current season but it should really be our primary objective for the next one; we really cant let Inter catch up to us and with all due respect to the other Serie A giants, they're just pretenders for now.

Oh, and I've beem meanin to say for a while, but Milanista's, how about creating a new thread or two and spreading the posts about a bit in the Milan forum? You know like a multimedia or image or transfers thread, that sorta shizzle?

Shieldy, your no.1 rule in life should always be Ã¢â‚¬Ëœ I donÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t talk to mentally challenged peopleÃ¢â‚¬â„¢. That in itself should make you avoid any possible Ã¢â‚¬ËœdiscussionÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ with an EPL fan.
With regards to the subject in question, I think the answer to this is that Sheva is more of a tactical & technical player, rather than a physical & fast one. We all know that the EPL is not superior to any other league(like they claim), but it is different. Their gameplay is faster than other leagues, thus minimizing the technical qualities of the game. In Italy, the game is much slower and tactical, therefore to get the upperhand, one often relies on the technical qualities of individuals who have that something extra with regards to technique. Just look at their league, and see how often has a Brazilian or Argentinian player succeeded in England. Sheva is that kind of player. He likes to play near the penalty area, not having to run all over the pitch to get a decent opportunity.
