Cunte said last night that Juve "always attack" Did anyone see this press conference? I'm just curious if he finished that sentence with "except when we play Roma" or something like that.

If he didn't did any of the media laugh and point at him?

I thought the very same thing when I seen that headline. They weren't doing a lot of attacking in the early stages of that game yesterday, either. Inter had most of the possession, it was just that they were completely and utterly useless with it and didn't know what to do with the ball against Juventus' catenaccio set-up that Juventus began to take the initiative and control the game.

Rube played catenaccio in both games; that the results were different doesn't change the pattern of play. Three goals from set pieces? Baiting aside, the way Cunty has set Rubentus up to play against Roma in both games was identical and was the stuff of a guy completely without balls. Sometimes dickless wonders win and sometimes they don't; either way they remain dickless wonders. So Cunty. I've never liked the cunt but I'd not realised how completely dickless he is.

Conte got it right the first game, and got it wrong the next game.
You can console yourselves by thinking that since against Juve you played more attacking and therefore logically you are the better team.

Conte was wrong in the second game in as much as Juve were going to find it very hard to get up the pitch with Quagliarella and Giovinco up front, as the team was defending deep and needed the forwards to hold the ball up.

Conte was right in that, broadly speaking, it was the correct gameplan against this Roma. You must avoid giving them counter-attacks.

Juve squad: Osvaldo in, Quag out

Juventus have today announced their 23-man squad for the upcoming round of the Europa League.

After their Champions League group stage exit, the Bianconeri have gone into Europe’s second-tier club competition, where they face Trabzonspor in the Round of 32.

And they will do so with Dani Osvaldo, who has been named amongst the squad after his loan move from Southampton went through on deadline day.

Fabio Quagliarella meanwhile, was the biggest name omitted from the list.
