So Burdisso is gone. It's crazy when i saw them in NYC just 18 months ago he looked our best player, now he's surplus.

Official: Gianluca Caprari Among Four Players To Leave Roma, Giammario Piscitella Returns From Pescara

Roma have completed five transfers regarding some of the club's fringe players, with Gianluca Caprari to Pescara the most notable transfer.

In a statement released on the club's website, the Giallorossi confirmed that Caprari has gone to the Delfini on a co-ownership basis, while Federico Viviani, Alessandro Crescenzi and Tomas Svedkauskas have all been loaned out to different clubs.

As expected, Caprari goes on a co-ownership deal worth €1.5m to the Serie B side where he spent the second half of the 2011/12 season and the whole of 2012/13 in search of first team football.

As part of the deal, Pescara have relinquished two other Roma players - Giammario Piscitella, who rejoins the Giallorossi for €1.5m, and Federico Viviani. Piscitella will remain with Roma for the time being, though it is likely he will also leave before the end of the month, but Viviani has been loaned out for the rest of the season immediately to Latina. The Serie B team, who are currently in mid-table, have an option to buy 50% for €600,000, though Roma also have the option to block the buy for €200,000.

Crescenzi meanwhile has been loaned out to Novara after returning early from his loan at Ajaccio, and the second division strugglers also have an option to buy 50% for €600,000. Roma also have the counter-option worth €300,000. Crescenzi has already stated that he is very happy to be back with Novara and is keen to help them move up the table away from the relegation zone.

The final transfer involves Lithuanian keeper Svedkauskas, who moves with Caprari to Pescara after six months with Paganese. Pescara can buy 50% of Svedkauskas at the end of the season for €400,000.

Is that the talk of the young players at Dundee Utd, Red? (forget their names) I seen something like that a while ago, are there not a host of clubs chasing them? A move to Roma seems very unlikely.

Looks like Borriello to West Ham is finally happening: "I say good bye to Roma fans, these were fantastic months, which ended with a beautiful record, thank you to all."

It seems like its going to be a loan till the end of the season, but unclear just how much of his wages they will be picking up. They have an option to buy but no doubt he'll be back again.

Also saw the picture of the guy who assaulted Ozvaldo on the training pitch, Jose Fonte. He posted a picture of his face. Obviously bragging that he had head butted Ozvaldo numerous times in the knuckles.

Hope Ozzy's knuckles are ok as this guys orbital bone looked as though he had head butted Ozzy's knuckles on multiple occasions. I hope that Fonte is punished.

Yeah I seen that pic too. In fairness, his face looked annoying, it was only natural of Osvaldo to head-butt it, and clearly all the players and officials at Southampton are in the wrong here, just overreacting and not being understanding enough. Its just not fair for poor Osvaldo.

According to this , West Ham will be picking up all of Borriello's wages, which is good.
