Sconfitta meritata sì, perchè l’Inter non ha fatto molto per meritare la vittoria.

Però c’è da registrare un altro episodio arbitrale a sfavore. Anche Nicola Rizzoli si aggiunge alla ormai lunga lista di arbitri che ha penalizzato l’Inter in questa stagione, il fischietto internazionale era stato designato proprio dopo una lunga serie di torti ricevuti dai meneghini nelle ultime uscite, il suo carisma e il suo essere tra i primi fischietti della Seria A avrebbe dovuto restituire ai ragazzi di Mazzarri quella serenità verso la classe arbitrale che ultimamente stava venendo meno, anche a parole.

L’episodio incriminato della gara col Genoa riguarda il secondo tempo, col risultato sullo 0-0 Rizzoli non assegna un calcio di rigore per fallo di mano evidente di Cofie su un cross si Guarin, l’intervento non è clamoroso come gli ultimi con Chievo, Udinese, Lazio, Milan, Napoli ecc ma il penalty sarebbe stato sacrosanto se fischiato.

I'm not a big fan of the conspiracy theories and stuff... but this year we've regularly had clear penalty fouls in almost each of the last half a dozen matches, and we still haven't seen one given. Last I checked, penalties & red cards are still awarded in this sport.
It's becoming a farce in all honesty.
Now that doesn't mean that we're playing well and that we should have won each game I've previously mentioned...but if we just take yesterday's match as an example, clear handball by an already carded player, would have drastically changed the match.
A point here, one there...
As of now (I know I'm late), I have lost all desire to watch another Italian league match for this season.

Curva: Guarin to Juve is unacceptable

Inter’s Curva Nord have released a statement condemning the news that Fredy Guarin could move to Juventus.

Reports on Monday have claimed that the Colombia international could be on his way to the Bianconeri, with Mirko Vucinic coming the other way.

However, the club’s hardcore fanbase have insisted that that is unacceptable.

“The move is taking place at this time of one of the most important players of Inter to another Italian side,” the statement read. “That is the straw that broke the camel’s back.

“We pose questions to President Moratti, to turn the spotlight on a company that is being run without any common sense.

“We are fed up of too many rotten apples at Inter.

“We just threw away a year (if not more) thanks to a forward-looking strategy. This could be a second.

“Inter plays in Serie A and deserves a company fit for Serie A.

“To Mr. Thohir – we recommend you forget baseball, NFL, NBA or other things that are light-years away from our reality.

“We want concrete acts – less of the ‘business’. We are in Italy, not Indonesia or the United States.

“But you are warmly invited to stay in this house.

“It’s just Guarin to Juve is not acceptable at this current moment.”

MILAN - FC Internazionale has decided not to continue negotiations with Juventus regarding the transfer of Fredy Guarin and Mirko Vucinic. President Thohir, having conferred with Massimo Moratti and the club's management team, did not feel that the necessary technical and financial conditions were in place to come to a satisfactory agreement. The president has already instructed the club's sporting directors to assess other transfer opportunities, with the aim of strengthening the team while respecting the parameters imposed by the Financial Fair Play rules.

Report: Guarin asks to leave Inter

Fredy Guarin is currently at Inter’s headquarters trying to force through a move to Juventus, reports suggest.

Respected Sky journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has revealed this afternoon that the Colombia international is only interested in a switch to the Bianconeri, and is currently trying to persuade the Nerazzurri hierarchy to let him leave.

It was claimed on Monday evening that a swap deal with Mirko Vucinic had been agreed before Inter back-tracked on the deal after they were bombarded by messages from fans insisting that the transfer was a bad idea.

Di Marzio reports though, that both players are keen for the saga to finally be over and want the move to be completed as soon as possible, with Guarin asking, in person, for the deal to go ahead.

Thohir: 'Opinions differed'

Inter President Erick Thohir explained why he scrapped the Fredy Guarin-Mirko Vucinic swap and called for everyone to “remain united.”

The club had already released a statement this evening confirming the transfer with Juventus had been abandoned.

An hour later Thohir added a new statement to the Inter website, giving more detail into the situation which Juventus dubbed “disconcerting.”

“After speaking to my closest aides and exchanging views with Massimo Moratti and his son Angelomario this morning, I decided not to continue negotiations with Juventus,” said Thohir.

“I felt it was not possible to reach an agreement on a deal in which the opinions of the two parties differed and which did not offer a clear financial or technical benefit to the club.

“As was said in the recent club statement, I have already asked our sporting directors to evaluate other transfer opportunities that will enable us to strengthen the team in line with the financial parameters imposed by Financial Fair Play.

“Again, I believe we must all remain united, the fans, the club and the team so that we can get back to the standing we all want for this club and that Inter deserves.”

The transfer had been on the verge of completion before angry fans bombarded the club with complaints, but the termination of the deal hasn’t stopped the protests.

A group of the Curva Nord ultras are now in front of the Inter HQ holding a protest and calling for the “rotten apples” to be removed from Inter.

The main targets are directors Marco Branca, Piero Ausilio and Marco Fassone.
