Yes, Guarin has been very disappointing lately. In his first season with Inter (did he arrive mid-season?) he looked like a great player, a complete all round midfielder, similar to Vidal, but he seems to have regressed, and he does look a bit clueless at times. All braun and power with bad shot selection (even if he does have a lethal shot) and passing.

What is the deal with Mazzarri only playing with the one striker in Palacio? Is that just down to injuries? Palacio is playing good but he needs to play off a centre-forward.

Mazzarri is trying to make a good player out of guarin but I don't think he can ,hes brain is fucked
at midfield is dangerous because can make dedly mystakes
if Icardi was right he would play with palacio ,Belfodil been disappointing and Milito is finished

Inter sign D.C. United deal

Inter have announced “a collaborative agreement to form a strategic partnership” with D.C. United, the MLS club owned by Erick Thohir.

The deal was signed today by Inter Vice-President Angelomario Moratti – the son of former patron Massimo – and Managing General Partner of D.C. United Jason Levien.

“F.C. Internazionale Milano and D.C. United announced a collaborative agreement to form a strategic partnership,” read a statement.

“This partnership, which will include the sharing of team, organizational and competitive best practices, will be subject to relevant rules and regulations of the appropriate governing bodies.

“In making this announcement, Angelomario Moratti, Vice President of F.C. Internazionale Milano said, “We see this as a positive relationship for Inter. We appreciate the cooperative opportunity and look forward to working with D.C. United now and in the future.”

“Jason Levien, Managing General Partner of D.C. United said, “We are thankful for the opportunity to work collaboratively with Inter. We believe this relationship will prove a significant benefit to DC United's growth and long-term achievement.”

Both clubs are owned by Indonesian businessman Thohir, who has been at the helm of D.C. United since July 2012 and Inter since November 2013.

D.C. United are based in Washington, D.C. and play in the Major League Soccer tournament.

I think I'm being greedy, but I would have preferred Thohir sell up whatever percentage he owns of DC United and just concentrated on making our club's presence bigger in Asia - China preferably.

I think this will be a good step to foray into the US market. The US is currently about Premiershit, Madrid and Barca. There is no Italian club with a solid presence in there and this partnership will give us some visibility at least with the DC United fans. Any publicity is good publicity.

I read somewhere that according to a UEFA report Inter are the club are still in the red in a big way. Expanding our markets in the US and Asia is the way to make more revenue.

All Thorir has to do now is change the name of the club to something like 'Inter United', or maybe 'The Black & Blue Killer Inter Snakes of Milan'.

It's been so frustrating to watch the last 3 Inter games, we seem to lose the plot every time we take the lead.

Our midfield offers no protection for our defense and our wing backs are so high up the pitch. Mazzarri needs to revert to the old midfield.
1) Alvarez in the no.10 position. His influence is really diminished when he plays on the left.
2) Taider needs to play on the right to cover for Jonathan who is not good defensively and tends to lose possession high up the pitch quite easily. Playing Guarin on the right does not help as he does nothing to provide cover when Jonathan is attacking.Taider on the other hand works his socks off defensively and offensively.
3) Unfortunately, in this midfield and with the wingbacks we have there is no spot for Kovacic. Guarin offers more as an attacking force and a goal threat. I still think Kovacic's best position would be that of Cambiasso but he needs to improve defensively. Even when played as a no.10 against Parma, he had the tendency to come deep and get the ball. He improved significantly in the second half after Mazzari tweaked the player positions a bit. He is the only one who can keep this team fluid and ticking but unfortunately he is just not ready at the moment in my opinion.

And Nagatomo's injury lay off really showed how important he is for this team. Perreria is not good enough and Zanetti doesn't have the legs anymore to run up and down the pitch for 90 minutes. Hopefully, we can do better in the next two crucial games with our first choice team (other than Milito) now available.

Mudingayi to Torino in Janaury - report

Torino may end Gaby Mudingayi’s Inter torment by bidding for the midfielder in January.

The 32-year-old has played just once this term for the Nerazzurri, and according to Tuttosport Il Toro are interested in signing the Belgium international.

Giampiero Ventura is said to be keen on bringing in the former Bologna man over the winter, with the Nerazzurri happy to let Mudingayi leave for a minimal fee.
