Yeah, he always was into his hairstyles and his fashion, which doesn't really go to well with the whole tough imposing defender image.

Good win for Milan last night, good performance and fairly easy in the end. Still, could have been different if Celtic had of converted one of their chances and really get going and Milan may have crumbled.

Balotelli was excellent. When he plays like that and doesn't spend the entire game bitching and moaning at the refs or his teammates he can be quite a player.

really good article that sums up how i feel about the situation. for all the good galliani has done, he is also responsibly for bringing in some shit players over the past few years, calling them 'good deals'. these good deals are not good footballers. first and foremost is the decision this past summer to keep allegri. what a load of horse-shit and we've seen where it's taken us.

we've always said that if we have the largest wage bill in italy, then we should be the best team in italy. it is certainly not the case, you can't have a team of The Bald Algerian's and pavon's (or kaka's and zaccardo's for that matter).

word on the playground is that Maldini is going to be the new technical director. everybody only has good things to say about Maldini, i hope that translates to running the club in an effective manner.

Berlusconi: 'Galliani stays at Milan'

Milan President Silvio Berlusconi has surprisingly announced Adriano Galliani “will stay in his position.”

The patron had been due to fly in by helicopter for a meeting with the team and media today, but the visit to the Milanello training ground was cancelled due to bad weather.

However, Berlusconi still spoke to Milan Channel and declared general manager Galliani “will stay in his position.

“The only reason I did not come to Milanello was due to the adverse weather conditions and I am disappointed.

“In any case, Milan go forward in a calm manner. Adriano Galliani is more relieved now, everyone is staying in their positions and Milan proceed in unity.

“I wanted to say these things directly to the media, but that is the basic gist of it. The club situation will not change. Galliani is relaxed after last night’s dinner at Arcore.”

Last night there was a four-hour meeting between Berlusconi and Galliani, who said he would resign after a clash with Barbara Berlusconi, the President’s daughter.

The exit was expected to be made official either after the Champions League game with Ajax or the last match of the season against Inter on December 22.

There were also reports Galliani was trying to sue Berlusconi for damages after working at Milan for 28 years and that this decision is only because the President rejected his offer of resignation.

Adriano Galliani admits his Milan exit is over, for now. “President Silvio Berlusconi’s words are sacred.”

The general manager had been on the verge of resigning after a clash with Barbara Berlusconi, the daughter of the President and a member of the Board of Directors.

However, following a long meeting last night, the patron announced Galliani would be staying.

“President Silvio Berlusconi’s words are sacred and have been as far as I am concerned for the last 34 years, even before I started working at Milan,” Galliani told MilanNews.it.

“I do not need to confirm the President’s words, nor comment on them. Were the last few hours tough? Well...”

Galliani was unusually not at the Milanello training camp today, instead meeting the team at Malpensa Airport for the flight to Catania, which is where the interview took place.

It is widely reported Berlusconi rejected Galliani’s offer of resignation, but that the situation could develop over the next few weeks.

This solution was introduced after a four-hour meeting with Vice-President and current general manager Galliani last night.

Galliani has threatened to resign after clashes with Barbara Berlusconi – the President’s daughter and a member of the Board of Directors – but today the President stated he would remain.

“Today we reached a full agreement on how to organise the club,” Berlusconi said in a statement to news agencies.

“There will be two general managers: one is Adriano Galliani, who will deal with the sporting sector, while Barbara Berlusconi will manage the other sectors.

“As for myself, I have promised to be closer to the club and the team.”

However, it remains to be seen where Paolo Maldini fits into all this, as Barbara Berlusconi had already contacted him to take over as new technical director.
