Bergessio, no thanks. Same goes for Demba Ba. I don't think either can offer much more than Borriello would. In that situation I'd rather give Caprari the spot in the squad. I'd like Hernandez. He's impressed me and I'd say he'll be gunning for it in a world cup year, as I said before. And he's young.

DDR hasn't looked that good in a Roma shirt for a long time. Thought the newbees were all positive too. Tweeting about the bloody Roma village when 20000+ fans were denied access to the game was typically dumb though.

Roma played some nice stuff at times, but I couldn't see where they were going to get a goal from at the point they got the lucky break for the opening goal.

Have to see them some more as they get more accustomed to playing with each other, but on todays evidence I'd say Roma would be better off playing with a genuine centre forward in games at home when they are facing a packed defence. Llajic - if played instead of Florenzi - may have enough inclination to get into goal-scoring positions to make the current system work, though.

Certainly seems to be a formidable midfield Roma have put together this season. Hard to see too many teams really dominating against those three.
