Would absolutely advocate Juve having a pot of cash kept in reserve to make a move for him as soon as he is vaguely available, but I see no suggestion that he won't be at PSG for the coming season.

If Blanc doesn't play him, then it may be possible to get him in January or next summer.

It's a risky move for an Italian player to move to England a year before the world cup.

I really like Giak, and If keeping him and getting Diamanti was an option, I'd do that. But if I had to choose between the two, I'd say sell Giak and get Diamanti.

Seems that the Ogbonna deal is all agreed and that Giaccherini has agreed to go to Sunderland since they are going to double his wages.

Giaccherini deal is about 8m + 2m in bonuses.

Ogbonna deal is for about 12m + 3m in bonuses.

Conte non è convintissimo della cessione, la società non ha tutta questa fretta: se però arrivasse a Torino il colombiano del Napoli Zuniga si riaprirebbe il discorso.

Lo Zenit San Pietroburgo sarebbe pronto a fare un'offerta importante per Frederik Sorensen. Secondo il quotidiano russo Izvestia, lo Zenit sborserebbe per il 21enne danese fino a 14 milioni, cifra che però potrebbe soddisfare la Juventus ma non il Bologna, coproprietario del cartellino a metà con i bianconeri. Per Sorensen sarebbe pronto un ingaggio da un milione e mezzo.

So, a Vucinic-Guarin swap...

Mixed feelings about this one.

I like Vucinic and think he's a very useful player.

However, I doubt I'd be starting him ahead of Llorente or Tevez very often.

As for for Guarin, I'm somewhat undecided.

I liked the look of him at Porto and he did well when he first went to Inter, but I feel he's been pretty poor for them for quite a while now. Obviously you can put some of that down to Inter's poor collective performances, but Guarin's decision making really has been woeful at times. Mazzarri playing him higher up the field also hasn't helped. I also consider him a relatively lazy player, but that's no great concern because we all saw how Conte knocked Vucinic into shape after Vucinic had arrive with the 'lazy' tag.

This signing does suggest to me that Conte has decided he likes the power of Pogba and Vidal in the more advanced midfield roles, so wanted another player along those lines to be backup to them, so I'd imagine this will be likely to confirm Marchisio is headed for a deeper role most of the time.

Another midfielder was certainly needed one way or another.

I'd expect Juve to have to give Inter a little cash. I'd value Guarin at about 15m, while I think Vucinic is probably in the 10-12m range.

If Guarin shows up with the right attitude and he is coached well, he could prove to be a very useful player. Juve's very set system and tactics and movement could really suit him well because it means that the player jut has to follow instructions a lot of the time rather than having to think for himself too much. That could mask Guarin's lack of intelligence.

Not a bad pick up IF he can recapture the form he was in with Roma. Big if, though. I like the fact that he's natural target man, which makes him the ideal back-up for Llorente, whichthis team lacks, and people have been overlooking it. Even if Vooch, Quags and Giovinco stay, we're forced to play another 2nd striker (alongside Tevez or whoever it is except Llorente), and we saw the problem with that against Roma in Coppa Italia.

We also need another CM. I wouldn't mind bringing Marrone back... But maybe Conte sees Asamoah as the guy whose going to step in to give one or two of Marchisio, Vidal, Pirlo, and Pogba a rest, possibly giving more playing time to Peluso/Padoin/Caceres at LWB.
