Seriously, Branca has a hard on for overrated Argentinians (no offence to any Argentinians that may be reading this thread).
How about he discusses with Mazzarri the players that he needs and not ones that he wants to see wear the black and blue. I know we are Internazionale but come on we need a few Italians that will actually start a match in the team. Really, this team would probably feel more at home playing in Argentina...

I thought Basta was much younger. What's the point of spending so much on 29 yr old players if they are not back ups. We will probably only get 2 good seasons out of them.

Meanwhile, the U-21 teams hasn't conceded a goal yet and the whole defense and the gk are Inter youth products. We will never end up giving a chance to any of them, while buying players with no long term prospects like Basta.

I think Guarin's a good player, but I'm not sure I'd have turned down a 20m offer for him.

Guarin is perhaps the best player that we currently have in squad ... what I like in Guarin is that he always seemed really pissed off during games in which we lost, unlike most of the other players. I think he can become an idol for the fans. Let's hang on to him.

Seems that the Indonesian guy is putting more pressure on Moratti to accept his offer .... I know I am in minority here, but I hope that Moratti holds on strong, or at least accepts only a minority share sale. The idea of seeing my beloved team end up in ruins once this person gets fed up of the club sends shivers down my spine. I know, I am a bit pessimistic ... but these things do happen. Malaga are in big shit at the moment. They are not paying their players salaries and they will probably be banned from Europe for the following years. I can't see it ending up well for them.

Looks like we'll be getting Isla for the flank rather than Basta ... I think he is a better option overall.

Well 7-8M for half a player who's been out practically a year due to a cruciate is hardly a better option.
Still beats me why we have to always splash out a big chunk of our budget on full backs, especially when it's always Zanetti who'll end up playing... It's not like big teams depend so much on their full backs.

The rumours of Handa are still persisting, and looks like if Anzhi or Barca meet our asking price of 30mil he is out of here with possibly Agazzi replacing him.
Also talk that Pinilla is coming back to us (was hardly with us when we purchased him initially) to be our sub for Milito.

I would rather sell Handanovic ... the reasoning behind this is purely mathematical ... with 30M for a keeper, we can get a good substitute even for 10M. If we were to get a good already established mf though ... we would need to fork out much more.

In both cases we would earn a huge amount considering their buying price. If the management wants to solve the economic problems we have .... this is what we should do. Buy good players before others notice them for 10-15m ... sell them 1-2 years after for 20-30m ... then, buy other good players for 10-15m. The catch over here, as Lomba said is not to invest them in players like Parriera or Schelotto from which you will end up losing money once you sell them.

I would sell Guarin if we get a good offer, irrespective of what happens with Handanovic. Guarin is a good player but he is not consistent and I don't know if he will ever become a player we can rely on every game. One game he plays really well and drives us forward to win games but in the next game he misplaces simple passes and just looks uninterested. May be Mazzarri can get the best out of him but if we can get 20+m for him, I would definitely sell him and get the likes of Paulinho or Niangolan. Also, I wonder where Guarin would fit, in the 3-5-2 system. He is not disciplined enough to play as the two defensive midfielders so the furthest forward midfield position looks the most likely. However, in my opinion, he is not creative enough to play that role. He doesn't have the finesse that Hamsik has, he is more about power and energy. This is another reason I would rather sell him for a good offer.
