So what do you guys think about Moratti selling a percentage of the club to this Thohir? I'm pretty sure many would be excited, thinking that he is our Abrahmovic or other... I'm far from convinced. Have seen some reactions from some DC something (Amercian club he owns) fans, and they seem quite uninpressed by his management. Their club is currently last in the standings, he has invested no money whatsoever on new players and the club is on the brink of bancruptcy... Sure he might invest in Inter, I don't know but I'm quite hesitant.

I am not very enthusiastic about it either. Abrahmovic after taking over the club was dedicated to the club but I don't think Thohir would be the same. He has stakes in other clubs around the world as well, like 76ers and DC United, and the DC takeover was around the same time last year. Moratti for all his faults, loves the club (may be too much for the good of the club but that's besides the point) and I would prefer an owner like him than a distant rich sugar daddy.

not to mention the fact that its not like Moratti never spent a penny for Inter ... over the years he has spent 1 billion euros at Inter ... how many presidents have spent that amount on their club?

Moratti will meet with Thohir but I doubt anything will come of it (well I hope nothing does). I have been reading (as you all have mentioned) that the sporting franchises he owns he has pretty much destroyed (thats the impression I get). Moratti only for this club, no one else!

Despite saying this, if an agreement for Thohir owning 20-30% of the club is available, this might be helpful in terms of purchasing wc players again and the building of our new stadium. Providing Moratti stays in charge as our no1 leader. An offer like this doesn't come around every so often....

I believe some are finding it difficult to understand that our current situation is mainly because of Moratti. The players, Branca, Strama...etc etc.. Who chose them? Surely not me. Who approves of the Rocchis, Schelottos, Jonathans, Perreiras & Cassanos? Surely not me. Who chose Strama in the first place? Who keeps confirming Branca year after year?
Moratti is a good man, but certainly not a great business man. He thinks with his heart instead of his brains.
Just to put you in the picture of what you shall be expecting with Moratti (cause it seems the deal with Thohir is slowly collapsing), our most probable new additions this summer will be Basta & Rolando Bianchi. You're happy with that? Fine, but I'm not.
You are right in mentioning what needs to be done. The only problem is you're suggesting the wrong person to do all that.
