Not a massive improvement imo. But maybe a Cassano_Mazzari reunion will lead to another CL qualifying spot. Although, 4th place in serie a doesn't qualify for the preliminary round any more.
Does anyone here know when the drawing is for the 3rd round of next season's Coppa Italia??

Well done on appointing Marrazzi. I wanted him at Roma – at least i did from all the current names who are being linked with the Roma job at present.

Strama had a hard season and I've been critical of him quite a lot, but he has shown some promise as a manager, but I think its just to soon for him to be in charge at a big club. A few years at a lower mid-table side and he could develop into a good coach.

I think Mazzarri can do quite well with you. Inter have a lot of players who suit his 3-5-2 system already. Lots of centre-backs and wing-backs. Though certainly it'll be interesting to see what players he wants to request to Moratti to bring in. Don't suppose Morratti will agree to sign Cavani for the 60 million or whatever?! (purely to see him stay in Serie A and not leave for Madrid or Manchester or whatever, as is likely).

I believe Mazzarri will want at least a solid defensive midfielder to protect the defence and the runs forward of Guarin & Kovacic.
A wide forward who can cut to the middle from the flanks and probably (especially if Samuel calls it a day) a strong and charismatic central defender to play in between Ranocchia & Juan.
Not sure either how happy he is with our current right wing and centre forward situation. Probably he might want some investment here too.
Mazzarri usually utilizes very few players during the season. He doesn't like rotations...so I suspect a lot of heads will roll and those willing to see some ex-primavera getting their opportunity will be disappointed.

I think we will see quite some changes .... a lot of players will be on their way out especially considering we will be playing 10 - 14 fewer games next year.

In my opinion what we desperately need is a very good central mf to play with Kova and Guarin, a good right footed player that is good at attacking and defending and a solid striker. I know that Icardi is on the way to the club but I don't believe he has what it takes to lead the forward line.

Who will leave? I think Jonathan, Silvestre, Parreira, Chivu, Stankovic, Obi, Gargano, Kuzmanovic, Alvarez and Shcelotto will be leaving.

I expect Milito, Cambiasso and Samuel to stay but given their age and their injuries, I don't think we'll see them too much on the pitch. I think that Deki and Chivu may leave since they will probably want to play more for the final year / two of their careers.

I have to admit it will be sad to see Deki leave ... one of the most complete mfs we've had. Not to mention the two eurogoals in 2 derbies that will be impressed in my mind forever.
