Jasus, listen to when Pallotta is asked about Allegri, the person has to say his name three times and then tell him he's the Milan coach. Fair enough if he doesnt know who Allegri is, but just the way he dismissed it and said he leaves all that 'nonsense' to Walter and Franco. Just shows how distant he and these suits are from the more important issues to do with the team. Quite a revealing interview.

fred, i'm pretty sure he knows who allegri is. of course he had to dismiss it, the question is about a speculative move, one which has already been answered by hundreds of people in every possible way. i'd be pretty annoyed if i were asked these bland, repetitive questions by the ever-warm and friendly roman media. how about 'how much are you going to spend'? it's just such a stupid question. of course they have a rough idea, but it all depends on how many players reject us, how many get sold, etc. i thought he didn't say anything wrong and gave pretty standard president/businessman answers. is he as involved as mauricio zamparini or moratti? no. is that a good thing? probably. they hired franco and sabatini for a reason.

Pretty clear to me he was being coy about Allegri. I have little doubt he'd dismantle Roma and burn down Trigoria if It put a dollar in his pocket. I don't think he's an idiot or aloof though.
