Actually I think it's the single most effective thing that can be done.

When the majority pressure the racist minority the chanting will stop. Peer pressure is the single greatest weapon against it in the short-term.

Can you imagine if that went on at Heinz field? Reaction would range between astonishment and aggression. That's what needs to happen in the Curva and every stadium in Europe.

Roma can't feel hard done by it. Its been going on all season. Well, every season, really, its always been there. It only took the actions of a fool like Balotelli for the world media and the authorities to start taking it seriously.

They were 'punished' €50,000 for the Inter game, and the club were forced to acknowledge it for the first time, and then it happens again from the Curva Sud against Napoli. It was always going too. Until proper action is taken its not just going to go away.

People like Collucci deserve not to attend the next (league) match. Nothing against Colly, of course, but its the general attitude of others who don't frown upon those who make these noises which needs to change. I've seen people first hand laughing, women laughing and joking, when monkey noises are made in the Curva.

ESPNUK are not showing the Coppa Italia final this Sunday as instead they are showing.... wait for it.... live Indycar racing. Indycar racing. In the UK and Ireland. There is about as much interest in indycar in these isles are there is in the average size of a shit left by your typical North American black bear. I'm not even fucking sure what the fuck indycar is to be perfectly honest.

ESPN UK have showed every round of the Coppa this year, even shitty little games no one gives a shit about, they have all the rights to show it, they've built up their Italian football coverage all year, and now they're not showing the biggest Coppa Italia final in history. Real poor form from them.
