In addtion, Ennio. You seem to make a lot of assumptions. This conversation began about the educational curriculum, and also, how teachers influence kids. I happen to like teachers but that is relative. Where we live, we happen to have a very good schood district with a large tax base. The teachers are happy and they really care about the kids in general even though I have confronted some liberal bias over the years. When our teachers went on strike after the local school board recinded a contract, I was at the meetings supporting the teachers. On the other hand, there are teachers who are simply not pleased. They demand more from the taxpayer in salary and benefits. Their pensions are not at risk and are guaranteed by the government. I know about parents and how difficult they can be with teachers. I would not want to be a teacher. The patience is not there to deal with such things.

My issue is that politics should play no role in the education system. There is a basic curriculum that should be taught and that is not being done. American and European history has been largely excluded in favor of global warming, multi-culturalism, and sex education. Economics, you can forget. LIke I said, in Italy, we learned more about American history than American kids. That continues today.

Ennio, there is nothing wrong with that at all. We have had this conversation. Those pollution concerns have taken a back seat to this global warming fraud. Nobody talks about pollution of the air, water, and most importantly, the poisoning of the food supply. I am attending a dinner on Sunday regarding Genetically Modified foods, to which I am vehemently opposed. So please, do not make assumptions.

I'm speaking from experience. Perhaps things are done differently where you are (as i've mentioned over and over i'm speaking only for Ontario, Canada)
