Well that was awful. Agree about AA, 4 points from three home games v Pescara, Siena and Chievo is just dire and he shouldn't really be considered for the permanent job.

you can tell that destro has the potential to be immense one day. he comes up with a moment of magic pretty much every game.
he still lacks in decision making, which could make for an even more astounding growth period over the next few years.

Totally disagree on Dodo. I think we should take heed of Brazilian nicknames as he has no footballing sense. For instance if there is a Rubbishihno out there we probably shouldn't buy him.

Also, I think AA changes formation and players too often. Fact is he's removed Bradley, yes Bradley, from the starting 11 again. Last time I remember him doing it was Pescara and it puts us off balance. You can see what he's trying to do, his thinking is we don't need defenders/holders just attackers but that's not the case.

Those ball winners further up the pitch help set fast breaks that lead to goal scoring before the defenders can get setup. This is when Totti is at his best, it helps all Attackers but particularly Lamela/ Destro who likes to run at defenders.

He also started with very few runners. If Lamela doesn't play then Florenzi and/or Marquinho should. We were stagnant in their final 3rd. Borini did it for us last year and Florenzi has done a good bit of running for us this year.

He doesn't seem to have a clue. The set-up was wrong from the start and his substitutions on made matters worse. The hours of impotent possession under LE and the frustrating losses under ZZ were almost bearable because love 'em or loath 'em, they were sticking to their convictions. AA just seems to have over-thought everything and not been able to come to a lucid conclusion. I never go on sack-the-manager rants, but I'm going to make an exception. I don't want him on the Roma bench. All he serves to do is remind the world what a pile of horseshit Roma is right now. Champions League material? We can't even beat Chievo, and they're not even a proper team. They're just a financial construction with no fans and little reason to exist other than the small profit they turn for their owner. If a side like that can come to the Olimpico and hold us like that, Roma are in a bad way.

I vote that this love triangle should be on the Roma shirt for next season. Somebody start a poll for the Mickey Mouse team of 2014. The tragedy here is that next season is already over. The only place his team is going is back to Disney World. Corn Dogs and Coca Cola for everyone.

From where I was sitting it was Dodo's best game. That's not saying much at all, admittedly, but when I mentioned him last night I meant it in the sense that he was the only player who looked better in this formation. He showed some good movement to get forward and I think it was the first time I've ever seen him dribble. I'm not lauding him or anything. I just thought he wasn't as terrible as I used to think he was.

Watching the game last night, I was seriously considering giving up my ticket for the final. I swear, if I see AA or one of those fat fucks from the board down there celebrating if Roma win I'll go into a violent rage. They're a fucking joke of an operation and that was clear for all to see last night on the pitch. The team has gotten to the final in spite, rather than because of, their best efforts and they should all be utterly fucking ashamed of themselves.

I suspect Dodo's contribution last night was the single reason the whole formation didn't work; the things he did made him look individually not bad but totally undid the team's collective mechanism. On the plus side, he has tremendous physical and technical qualities for a fullback. If he can learn the game, he will be a fine player - I'm not sure he's that far from where Marcelo was after his first season in Europe.

AA deserves great credit for stabilising the ship; I wish he'd stick with a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3, though. I also thought his substitutions made sense last night - it was pretty easy to see what he was trying to do in each case and they were sensible things to try. It was the starting formation that I was less happy with.
