Mudingayi should be confirmed indeed. That's what I read too. Honestly though these are not really problems...I mean a Gargano & a Mudingayi (who IMO was better than Gargano the few times he played) might be needed at times as reserves. My worry is if the club actually sees them as reserves or not...and more importantly if these will exclude new midfielders coming in.

From that list the only one we can afford is perhaps Fernandinho. One also has to keep in mind that the Italian league has lost A LOT of its appeal. Apart from that, for every player, cash is king ... one will never move to a club where he will be earning half of what he is earning at his current club.
How quickly things change ... 3-5 years ago, I would have probably refused all these players (apart from maybe one or two of them) ... now I know we don't stand a chance of signing one of them.
