Nel pomeriggio di oggi, l'Osservatorio convocato in seduta straordinaria dopo la decisione di disputare la finale alle ore 18 del 26 maggio, ha approvato «in un clima di larga condivisione il progetto presentato dalla Lega Calcio per l'organizzazione del derby di Coppa Italia». Presenti anche alti dirigenti della Questura di Roma «che hanno fornito gli indispensabili contributi di propria competenza. Tale progettualità, che ha mantenuto in pieno -si legge in una nota- lo spirito iniziale, pur accogliendo le indicazioni delle Autorità di Pubblica Sicurezza romane, ha stabilito la suddivisione dello stadio e la modalità di vendita dei tagliandi, le iniziative di comunicazione ed a favore delle famiglie, nonchè i criteri per lo svolgimento dei servizi di stewarding». La Tribuna Monte Mario e i settori Distinti e Curva Sud saranno riservati alla Roma, mentre la Tribuna Tevere, i settori Curva e Distinti Nord alla Lazio.

La vendita dei tagliandi, la cui tempistica e modalità di dettaglio saranno comunicate dalla Lega Calcio nella giornata di venerdì 3 maggio, sarà riservata, in una prima fase, ai soli tifosi delle due squadre aderenti ad iniziative di fidelizzazione: possessori della A.S. Roma Privilege, S.S. Lazio 1900, A.S. Roma club Away, voucher elettronici e S.S. Lazio Priority Pass ed altre tipologie di fidelity card.

i watched christian eriksen play a couple of weekends ago and haven't stopped thinking about him ever since. if any of you aren't aware, he's been a roma fan for over 10 years. scarves, posters and all have long been hanging in his room.

if you look at any our transfers over the last couple of years, you will see they all fall into one or zero of the two following categories, but never both:

1. proven (stek, balzaretti, heinze)
2. in high demand (destro, lamela, pjanic)

so, to be fair, i understand the management not signing players who fall into both, like gohkan inler and mauricio isla - not because their wages were too high or they were to expensive, but because they simply didn't want us. let's take off the giallorosso glasses and we'll see that we have little to offer that juve or milan don't. these days, apart from a rosi future we really only have one thing to offer to a solid player: minutes at a top 6 serie a side. given that, the list of purchases over the last years makes a lot of sense.

so here's my problem: christian eriksen, in his 3rd straight year as a starter at ajax, is finishing this season with 50+ apps, 21 assists and 12 goals. eriksen falls into both of the mentioned categories more so than anyone we have signed for a long, long time (since juan in '07, probably). take away his Roma love and we’re out of the race for his signature before it even starts. throw it in and we’re ahead of dortmund and rubentus.

we have been gifted this extraordinary chance to nab a player we otherwise would see only in our wet dreams or on the opposing team's scoresheet, and we’re letting the man-ures of this world steal him before our eyes.

for the love of christ, walter, josip ilicic is a tidy player but this move has been screaming to be done for years. he's got a year left on his contract, he's not going to wait forever.
