word on the playground is that we've submitted a 20m euro offer for balotelli. fifa agent ernesto bronzetti said that the teams are dancing around 5m give or take.

it would be incredible if we signed balotelli. i just don't know what will happen to pazzini, who is starting to find his form.

decent performance against atalanta, even though we could've done much better.

atlanta were leaving plenty of spaces in the middle of the park which we couldn't exploit. boateng either lacks the confidence or the skill to pick the ball up with his back to goal and turn around into space, he doesn't contribute much in the attacking part of the game. we needed more from our midfielders because pazzini was doing a good enough job of occupying 2 CB's at once, niang was able to exploit the opportunity in front of atalanta's defenders when he picked the ball up in front of them, both of them stepped up to contain him and he slotted it through for the pharoah to score. we could've done that all game if we had some good quality midfielders.

it must be said, though, that atalanta didn't help themselves by playing so deep against us, most teams that press us do a pretty good job of putting us on the back foot, atalanta didn't get that memo. perhaps it's the pace that the pharoah and niang offer, but it worked out for us.

the red card was deserved, the idiot made 2-3 tackles that could've been yellows, so atalanta can't complain about it too much. niang did a great job on the right, his defender couldnt take the ball away from him and niang was able to easily turn and move the ball forward at will. i'm impressed with niang so far, but more as a right-winger than a striker. he hasn't created too many opportunities for himself, although i'm sure they will come.

good to see flamini back, he always offered himself as an option and was always comfortable with the ball. showed a lot more composure than nocerino, who has dropped off the planet.

didn't see the game as the had Bundesliga on here in the UK instead so i can't comment on the game but i did pick up on people saying they were impressed to see how easy Niang was passing players when given space to run at them, been a while since we had a player that could beat a man at speed. anyway Raiola has gone to Manchester to offer City the 21 million we've offered, i've also heard we have offered to include KPB in the deal as well. Madrid's assistant coach has confirmed in a press conference that the deal for Kaka is not dead yet and they're still working on it with Kaka taking a cut in wages to help finance the move.

You have to admit, having Balotelli back in Serie A will be fun, if nothing else. Feck knows the english media will miss him. He's a different player when he plays for the Azzurri and for Prandelli compared to at City, but you have to wonder if he'll have that same attitude at Milan and with Allegri.

Although its not official yet, i dont think, its said he'll be with Man City for tonight’s game with QPR at Loftus Road.

Balotelli transfer was tough – agent

The agent of Mario Balotelli has revealed that the player’s move to Milan collapsed on numerous occasions before a deal was finally done with Manchester City.

The Rossoneri have completed the €20m capture of the Italian international striker despite the frequent complications.

“It wasn’t easy to bring Mario back to Italy, we had to take it one step at a time,” Mino Raiola told Sky Sport Italia.

“The talks broke down seven or eight times in the last 60 days. All the speculation in the media was annoying City, especially when it came to the payment methods.

“I thank Milan who always believed and who never pulled out even during the most complicated economic times.

“Fortunately, we’ve been able to bring back a top player to Italian football. Mario is a great talent and he still hasn’t shown half of what he is capable of.

“Balotelli’s arrival increases the value of Serie A by 50 per cent and it lowers that of the Premiershit by 50 per cent.”

Milan’s interest in the player was unclear at one stage after President Silvio Berlusconi described the former Inter man as a bad apple.

“It was a misunderstanding,” Raiola added. “The fact that Milan signed him is the most important thing. Words don’t matter, facts do.”

Balotelli returns to Serie A after a sometimes difficult two-and-a-half year spell in English football.

“Mario’s biggest problem in England was that he couldn’t live a normal life, there were too many paparazzi,” Raiola noted.

Balotelli was in action for his new club this afternoon and scored in a practice game against Serie D side Darfo Boario.

Milan leap for Salamon

Highly-rated Brescia youngster Bartosz Salamon has reportedly been sold to Italian giants Milan.

The 21-year-old, represented by Mario Balotelli's agent Mino Raiola, will cost the Diavolo a fee of €3.5m.

Salamon is a Polish youth international who is a central midfielder, although he is versatile enough to be used as a centre-back as well.
