Alessandro Crescenzi potrebbe passare in questa finestra di mercato al Crotone. Al momento è in prestito al Pescara. Per capire qual è la reale ed effettiva situazione riguardo il calciatore, il Ds dei pitagorici, Giuseppe Ursino ha rilasciato queste brevi dichiarazioni:





“Crescenzi? Eravamo interessati, ma il suo agente (Lucci, ndr) ha detto testualmente che il ragazzo preferisce restare in A. Per me sarebbe stato meglio fare sei mesi da noi con la reale possibilità di giocare, ma evidentemente non la pensano così.”

Dopo due partite a guardare i compagni dalla panchina, Tachtsidis a Catania potrebbe trovare un posto da titolare. Come scrive oggi il Corriere dello Sport Zeman sarebbe intenzionato a riproporre il greco come il costruttore del gioco a centrocampo. A farne le spese sarebbe Bradley che a Napoli non ha convinto. De Rossi-Tachtsidis-Florenzi è il centrocampo in testa al tecnico boemo in vista della gara del Massimino anche se il centrocampista di Ostia potrebbe tornare a lottare per una maglia da titolare.



La squalifica di Pjanic e l’assenza per infortunio di Osvaldo non lasciano dubbi in attacco dove verrà riproposto il trio Lamela-Destro-Totti che ha iniziato il match al San Paolo di Napoli.


Sta male anche Perrotta ed ecco perchè Sabatini ha bloccato la cessione di Marquinho al Gremio.

That could be an interesting trio - Lamela doesn't need quite the same running beyond him as Totti does, so it might work and, despite Zeman's prescriptions, we might keep an extra midfielder behind the ball a bit more this way.

Pity about Crescenzi alright, he hasn't made a single appearance in for Pescara. I think he was struggling with injuries at the beginning of the season which no doubt hampered his chances of getting in the team, but still disappointing he hasn't played at all.

Yeah I think Tachtsidis could bring a bit more stability in the midfield as mediano. Daniele struggled there against Napoli and is still struggling to assert his influence and really be at his best in that position. I still think his future lies in that role, but for now Tachtsidis can offer something extra there and Daniele can be moved up and be let loose in the middle at the expense of Bradley. Its Catania away, too, always an ugly game, so we'll have to tighten up in midfield.

Another poor result - 3 defeats in 4 now.

DDR, Pjanic and Bradley is our best midfield trio IMO so when Pjanic is suspended it's suicidal to leave another one out - especially as important as DDR and in a very tough away game. Do not understand that one bit and once the line up came through (the one not including Il Capitano) it would have been a big surprise had we won.

We should have won but we couldn't finish our dinner. We should have been two up at the break and in the second-half we played like we knew that and it was inevitable Catania would score.

A lot of poor performances. Not just Destro, who certainly should have converted one of those chances, but also Lamela, who we needed a big game from, was quiet and not looking on his game at all. Don't think Florenzi was as bad as that.

We could have done with Nico Lopez on the bench. He to sink Brazil U-20's 3-2.

Don't know why DDR was dropped – I guess we'll find out soon enough once the questions for Zeman come flying – but we could have done with him coming on as a sub in the second-half to use his experience and influence to settle the lads once we became ragged. Disappointing. Fucking hate Catania.
