To be honest, sometimes I really get to be happy about such results. Maybe, just maybe, Moratti & co. will get it into their empty skulls that we ain't no idiots and that blaming the referee every game doesn't hide the fact that we've got a mid-table squad at best and that getting where they are aiming to get will take a pure miracle given the poor human material offered.
The fact that I know our future looks even dimmer than our present is simply unacceptable. Getting here after winning a treble in just 2 years must have taken some really tough work to do. Compliments to all. And screw you.

Moratti: Inter to make signings

President Massimo Moratti has confirmed that Inter will make some January repairs after holding a transfer summit on Monday.

Inter officials Marco Branca and Piero Ausilio held a 90-minute meeting with Moratti earlier today before the latter was quizzed by the media outside his Saras offices.

“We spoke about yesterday’s loss against Udinese, but also the future,” the oil baron noted. “We’ll make adjustments to Inter.

“But before then let us hope that we get back our injured and suspended players.”

The San Siro giants have been paired with the likes of Atalanta winger Ezequiel Schelotto, Chievo goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino and Catania playmaker Francesco Lodi.

“They are all good players,” Moratti continued. “However, now is not the time to spend a lot of money.”

Inter’s season took a massive step in the right direction with a win at Juventus in November, but they’ve collected just eight points since.

“We only did well for a part of the game,” he said when asked about yesterday’s 3-0 reverse. “Then there was a horrible transformation.

“Inter have the same amount of points as Claudio Ranieri’s Inter last season? Yes, but the League position is better as the others are slowing down.”

WHAT THE FUCK! This doesn't give us a reason to not improve our side. This should be the time where we capitalize and make ourselves stronger for the future.

Also now is not the time to spend a lot of money on Schelotto, Sorrentino and Lodi? He is making excuses on even these types of players. Shit these guys will really break our bank account. Our money problems must be much, much worse than we thought.

We are a mid-table side playing in the most mediocre Serie A season ever, just 2 years after winning a treble...gotta repeat myself but it must have taken some decent effort from Moratti & Co. to have been able to do all this in such a short period of time, while still having enormous financial running problems and possibly facing disciplinary consequences by UEFA.
It's funny, I just wanted to match our current squad (including our current objectives) with that of 2010. This is the result:

Talks are that we have agreed to terms with Galatasaray for Sneijder (10 mil), now they have to convince Sneijder to join them. Somehow, I doubt this will happen.

Why do you think Moaninho left? He ran away because he knew he couldn't get as much out of that lot again - and because he knew he had no chance of getting them to get up again the following season. I wouldn't blame Moratti or Branca or anyone else for the fact that players like Sneijder didn't have the mental toughness to get stuck into the hard work again so as to back up the success with another rather than taking the lazy, easy option and resting on their laurels (and their salaries).

That's about where they are. seriously, the gap between that fortunate treble and where they are now isn't much more than wear-and-tear and mental softness.
