Luis Enrique può essere considerata una scommessa, ma tutti abbiamo imparato tanto. Io sono convinto che molti giocatori sono migliorati con lui: Lamela non sarebbe stato il Lamela di adesso senza Luis, idem per Pjanic e lo stesso per Osvaldo. E anche noi più adulti abbiamo appreso tanto: lui ti faceva credere in un ideale in maniera totale e questo ricerca è stata importantissima per crescere. Poi c’è stato questo cambiamento con Zeman che è arrivato con un’ondata positiva e di ottimismo, che aiuta sempre. Con lui le cose sono cambiate molto, a partire dal modo di stare in campo che è più semplificato. Si ricerca costantemente il modo di fare male all’avversario in una maniera più istintiva rispetto al passato. I singoli sono migliorati e come squadra piano piano stiamo migliorando, ma ora nel 2013 dobbiamo raggiungere la continuità. E’ quella la cosa fondamentale.

Absolutely, DCG. I love how the figure of €28m was pulled from somewhere. Marquinhos is a relative unknown to anyone who doesn't watch Italian football (i.e, Britain) yet Chelski are willing to spend €28m on him? Ha. A hefty figure, but like you said he'll be worth a lot more in time.

Do you know for sure, DCG, about his future fee? I'm pretty sure we had this convo before but I can't remember. According to his , we got him on loan for €1.5m with an option to buy outright for a further €3m if he plays eight or more games (which of course he has). So €4.5 for him (at the end of the season, we won't officially own him till then), which is a steal. I thought it was more though, for some reason.

Ah, bummer, hoping for Saturday. Unfortunately (or fortunately) my second team the mighty Washington Redskins will be hosting their first playoff game in 13 years and yours truly will be on-site to revel in what is sure to be a glorious time. Right up until they actually start playing the game of course. Then, like Roma needing 1 point from a match to win the Scudetto they will surely crush all my hopes and dreams. The bitter sports fan in me will come back and sadness will reign.

You guys will have to do without my insight in the SB for one game. I know what you're thinking, but you guys will be ok.

Usually when they pack their main schedule with crap they at least stick the Serie A game(s) on ESPN Classic.

Yeh, shitty there's no Serie A coverage. Big FA Cup weekend (me arse) and they're showing a few games from that which they've rights too, and some smelly darts shite, but not showing any live Serie A action all weekend is pretty poor. Our game is on delay at 10pm tonight (hopefully its one worth re-watching).
