He has been a revelation these last 4 games. Moving him away from Totti has unlocked him in ZZ system. Someone was banging that drum earlier this year. Can't remember who. I just remember that person being smart, funny, witty, sexy but above all modest.

No doubt Pjanic has shown his class the last few games and shown what he is capable off, but a few doubts still remain on whether he can really fit into this side. He done very well playing up forward but with Lamela, Osvaldo and Destro all fighting over two positions (Totti is a given) you can't really see him playing there full time. So back to midfield? No doubt he has to fit in somewhere, and even if his attributes don't perfectly fit with what Zeman wants from his midfielders he still has to play there.

He also seems like quite a modest lad, not taking the praise aimed toward him and saying the winning streak is down to the effort of all the team and he's complimented Totti and DDR and other players. Hopefully we can renew his contract, even if there is no mad rush, because his market value is only going to sky-rocket the more he plays.

I think the problem fitting in Lamela and Pjanic lies in part with our RB situation.

I think you can have Pjanic play a pivot role and let Lamela run but without the ball much will be asked of the RB.
