Well let me tell you who disagrees. Every single person in a position of power in this case. Not one rogue guy in the FIGC as Juve fans say. A panel of different judges. Not 1 other judge, but a panel of judges said he's lucky he's not banned for 3 years.

I really haven't read that much about it so I've tried not to pass judgement and it's why I put the caveat above. However, for me The Juve fan community lost and/any all credibility with the continued group delusions regarding Calciopoli. Not even taking shots. It's cult like though and worst part is I know you all actually, truly believe that Juve did nothing wrong. Which is why I sort of brush off these claims of innocence by Juve fans (Even though I must admit the preponderance of evidence doesn't appear to be there as it was in Calciopoli )

Also, would an innocent guy wear this?

Calciopoli is a different and much more complicated case/argument than this one. Lets keep them separate.

Alla vigilia dell’inizio della serie A, con la vicenda Conte-calcioscommesse che ha appena scollinato il secondo grado di giudizio, l’unica certezza è che la Juventus e Andrea Agnelli non vogliono essere giudicati da alcun tribunale sportivo, ma solo ‘pesati’ in base al seguito popolare e all’evidente importanza che ha la società bianconera nel funzionamento del sistema. Un riflesso condizionato di un’Italia antica, quando la Fiat era la Fiat e l’arroganza padronale non era supportata dal diritto ma almeno dalla forza. L’aspetto grottesco di tutta la vicenda è infatti il sostegno acritico della società a Conte, per fatti risalenti al suo lavoro a al Siena (e magari in futuro per quello al Bari): in ogni caso niente che riguardi la Juventus, nemmeno di striscio. Invece la scelta, su consiglio non sappiamo di quale dei duecento avvocati in campo o se direttamente dello stesso Agnelli, è stata quella di buttarla in caciara. Come se il calcioscommesse 2012 fosse in qualche modo, sul piano giudiziario, una prosecuzione di Calciopoli con l’intento nemmeno troppo segreto di mettere i bastoni fra le ruote di una Juve che sul campo ha stravinto. Di qui le frasi di Conte sui ‘giudici tifosi’ (ma avrebbe dovuto anche dire di quale squadra), a margine dei balbettamenti sul merito delle accuse (ruolo di Stellini, esclusione di Mastronunzio, eccetera). Il senso generale della scelta di Agnelli è il solito: tenere sotto scacco la Figc, crearsi crediti spendibili in futuro. Con la consapevolezza che sul piano tattico le partite si vedono meglio dalla tribuna e che nel paese dei mille gradi di giudizio (altro che mancanza delle garanzie costituzionali) ogni sentenza può essere ribaltata, mitigata, ridiscussa.

Yeah, Marrone is a midfielder.

Caceres, Chiellini, Lucio are all out, so Juve are a bit short at the back. Marrone played CB in quite a few friendlies, including the Trofeo Berlusconi, and seemed to get on okay.

And Asamoah is there because, even theough he's a CM, he's also a better LWB than Juve's other options there just now, though Juve will probably sign another player for that spot before the window closes.

He played there in the Super Coppa.

Indifferent showing.

First half was poor, with a complete lack of intensity and aggression.

Came out with much more purpose in the second half and a good twenty minutes was plenty to win the game.

When both teams play the same system, as was the case tonight, it comes down to the players taking the responsibility to win individual battles and Asamoah was the key one to do that in creating the first goal by beating Rosi, so he'd probably have to get Man of the Match.

Ball was given away far too often and too easily throughout the game, which put unnecessary strain on the defence.

Signs of Juve's bad habit from the start of last season of being completely focused on marking at corners and forgetting that someone still needs to go and attack the ball to get it clear properly.

Don't like the look of the Giovinco-Vucinic front two. Reminds me too much of Vucinic-Quagliarella from last season, which also didn't offer anything like enough penetration.

What's the obession with firing the ball into the feet of a player in the SS position only for them to try and find the player in the CF position with an impossible first time flick? Just control the ball and lay it off to one the the oncoming midfielders.

Do any angles show conclusively whether Pirlo's shot was over the line?

Yeah, first half was pretty bad, but we played some nice football in the second half. I thought we did well to keep possession, but we got a little sloppy after we went two up.

I agree with you about Vooch and Giovinco. We NEED to buy a good target man for this squad to be complete. I also don't like Giovinco playing forward. It worked at Parma because smaller teams try to catch teams on the breakaway, which Giovinco's speed and agility is ideal for. But for Juve Giovinco is easily marked and outmuscled when has to wait for someone to pass him the ball. I think he needs to come from a bit deeper and run at defenders which is what he's best at.

A solid performance against Parma but we really need Llorente or Dzeko as well as get all our players back and healthy because our schedule is going to get tough real quick.

I didn't notice it when I was watching the game live, but Mirante comes a god 3-4 yards off his line to save the penalty. Obviously Lichsteiner was offside and it shouldn't have been a penalty, though.
