Unless he sees Marquinho as a wide forward or maybe Taddei I don't see us having enough up front to get rid of Ozzy. The right seems to be set with Lamela and Bojan. But get rid of Ozzy and you have only a 35 yr old and a 21 yr old. I'm sure Bojan could play both but one injury or suspension and you have no cover it would appear.

Am I missing something?

I'd rather Marquinho and Taddei not be used as wide forwards. Osvaldo has to stay. Not only was he our most consistent goalscorer last season, by the time next season rolls around, Bojan will have gone back to Barcelona and Totti will be almost 37.

Lamela, Bojan, Totti, Destro and Ozzy as our five strikers is good. Nico Lopez too if there's a lot of injuries/suspensions. Borriello can do one.

He was linked with Spurs on loan a week or two ago but that didn't really develop.

So apparently our Dan Ross has been the subject of much scuttlebutt-ery these past 24 hours.

Its the same story heard time and again when front office folk talk about untouchable players.

Step 1: Mention that "for the right price" every one is for sale.

Step 2: Madness ensues, tifosi riot.

Step 3: Make statement where "(Insert player name here) is worth One hundred million, billion, gazzillion dollars"

Step 4: Return to your regularly scheduled program.

is the pizza getting this treatment for similar reasons, then? because it's hard to imagine why zeman would turn his back on the man so coldly. sure, he's slow, but so was verratti and so is tackydickis. the former actually seems to resemble pizza a lot. maybe attitude problems, then; he did have conflicts with some previous coaches and he may not be working hard enough, but that's a tough one to justify this treatment with. i read something about him rejecting 12 offers, but why the hell did 12 offers come in in the first place? that's the management's doing. i'll be curious to see what these guys say when things are done and dusted.
