Palermo and Torino at home in November, but the weekend of my glorious birth is the derby. It's the away leg, however, so not sure tickets will be easy to come by.

As Collie said, this team needed a cleanout as it had grown old on the vine with Rosella due to lack of funds. I suppose we could have gone through last year and this year as a farewell tour but then what?

I'm far more concerned with our transfers next year and the year after. If in 2 years we are replacing Pjanic, Lamela and Takki with the "next" Lamela, Pjanic or Takki who are 19 or 20 then i'll feel that my team and it's legacy has been harmed.

Let's all hope in 5 years time we love Daniel Ross like Totti and Florenzi like Simone.

For the record, Tackstidis didn't get hit by fruit I don't think. Or at least he didn't think it was. He tangled with a defender and when getting up, something Infuriated him. He grabbed the defender with both hand in the head and tossed him to the ground. Then went F'in mental and even shoved Lucca (I'm pretty sure). Only after 2-3 minutes of trying to get back at the guy was Ozvaldo able to calm him down.

Needless to say that MoFo has a temper. I mean he was mental.

As for the rest, Bojan nearly took a water or beer bottle to the head on a corner and on the way out a few Roma fans were complaining to the cops that they were drenched in their seat by beer.

That's why I sat in the Curva. Also learned some really nice new songs to sing to myself while watching games. Didn't hurt that they were bianco blu.

I saw that play, as I tried again with a stream and it wasn't too bad. I couldn't tell exactly what made him go nuts, but he was like a raging bull, which is somewhat appropriate, given the stadium.

Did you have any new or different thoughts about some of the players now that you've seen them live?

You were at the game, DCG? Didn't see any of it, was the atmosphere really as hostile as some reports, or just the usual kinda stuff for a team with the most fans there?

Was looking for a full download but doesn't seem to be any, cant even find any decent highlights, anyone have any?

Also, was Stekelenburg injured? He wasn't even a sub.

Story from La Repubblica saying the latest idea for our new stadio would be right in the heart of the city, beside the Gazometro at sull'Ostiense, near the Piramide Cestia, which is also near were the old Campo Testaccio was. The thinking would be that they could make the Gazometro into a sort of landmark of the stadio (although calling it the "industrial Colosseum" may be too much) which is able to light up at night, and there's enough space around it (lots of old warehouses and factories) to make it into a sort of fan zone and shopping centre etc. Its also owned by the ENI group.

Its still no more than an idea at this stage, but I have to say i like this location for a new stadio.

Oh and I got a few pics I'll post when back from NYC. I got nothing good though. I had a ghetto sign I had laminated but ZZ ran onto the pitch and grabbed players and pulled them into the tunnel after the match. So nada.
