(Ansa) - Roma-Liverpool, ovvero una lunga serie di brutti ricordi per i tifosi giallorossi. A cominciare da quella notte nerissima dell'Olimpico in occasione della finale di Coppa dei Campioni del 30 maggio 1984, quando Falcao e compagni videro sfuggire ai calci di rigore il sogno del trionfo continentale. Ad esultare davanti ai tifosi giallorossi in lacrime, i 'Reds' di Souness e Grobbelaar, lo strambo portiere inglese che a suon di smorfie sulla linea di porta riesce ad 'ipnotizzare' prima Bruno Conti e poi Ciccio Graziani, che con i loro errori dal dischetto mandano in frantumi tutti i cuori giallorossi sugli spalti e davanti alla tv.

Una notte nel pallone che doveva diventare magica per la squadra della capitale e che invece si trasformo' in un incubo: una partita cosi' amara (1-1 al termine dei tempi regolamentari e 2-4 ai rigori) da rendere il sonno difficile ai supporter giallorossi che c'erano, e a cui sono seguiti altri episodi da dimenticare per la Roma e i suoi tifosi.

Come l'eliminazione nel marzo 2002 in Champions League: gli allora campioni d'Italia vengono sconfitti 2-0 a Liverfekkin'wankscum nell'ultima giornata del gruppo B della seconda fase. La Roma vince la partita ma viene eliminata, anche questa volta immeritatamente. Il club giallorosso presenta un ricorso che non sara' accolto: neanche l'intervento dell'Uefa riesce a spezzare la maledizione dei 'Reds' che si conferma pure in una amichevole giocata negli Stati Uniti, proprio come quella in programma nelle prossime ore a Boston. Era il 4 agosto di otto anni fa ed a dare la vittoria al Liverfekkin'wankscum al Giants Stadium di New York fu un gol di Owen all'85', che suggello' il 2-1 in rimonta degli inglesi andati sotto al 20' grazie alla rete romanista firmata da Delvecchio al 20' seguita dal pari di Cisse' 9 minuti dopo. Una lunga serie di sconfitte con il Liverfekkin'wankscum, una specie di tabu', che la Roma di Zeman-2 e' chiamata a sfatare.

According to calciomercato.com we're very close to signing this fella. Never heard of him, and cant understand why we're taking a punt on him when we already have Rosi and signed Piras.

MERCATO ROMA - Il terzino greco dell'Olympiakos, Vasilis Torosidis, sarebbe a un passo dalla Roma: secondo quanto riportato da calciomercato.com, la società giallorossa avrebbe già trovato l'accordo con il giocatore e oggi i dirigenti avrebbero sondato il terreno con il club di Atene, ricevendo risposte positive.

I thought we signed Tachtsidis outright, but I just realised its a co-ownership deal, and not a full transfer: "con accordo di partecipazione". That does mean co-ownership, right? Partecipazione?

Ivan Piris is actually still not official – whats the delay with that? He was in Roma two days ago for his medical.

Matteo Brighi – nothing official from him at all either, even though he is training with Torino? Was he sold/on loan/released?

Brighi's agent said he's training on his own at the moment, but expects him to join Torino in the 'near future'. Not a clue about Piris but I'm sure it will get done eventually.

Stopping up for the game tonight, hopefully will be worth it.
