Sneijder next on Anzhi wish-list
Russian giants Anzhi are looking to again raid Inter for one of their best players – this time the creative Wesley Sneijder.
Anzhi swooped for Samuel Eto’o a year ago when they tempted the Italian club with a €27m bid, while offering the Cameroon international an annual salary of around €20m.
Now reports in Italy are suggesting that the outfit want the Dutch international playmaker and they are prepared to again dig deep into their pockets to net their objective.
Anzhi could test Inter’s resolve with a €25m offer for the former Real Madrid man, as well as putting €15m a season on the table for the 28-year-old.
Sneijder had a problematic 2011-12 campaign which was affected by injury and form. He scored just four goals in only 27 games for the club last term.

Personally I think Sneijder would never join a team like Anzhi ...

Poli-Inter break explained
Andrea Poli’s agent has explained why talks with Inter over a move for the player have been broken off completely.
This afternoon saw confirmation from Poli’s representative that negotiations with the Nerazzurri over working out a transfer from Sampdoria had been called off.
As he explained this evening, the decision was because progress in talks looked a long way from being made.
“In light of this ongoing delay in negotiations no solution has been reached,” Giovanni Branchini told Calciomercato.com.
“We note that obviously terms have failed to be agreed, otherwise the transfer would have happened by now.”
“It was inappropriate to continue to wait for a solution and so we are now free from any moral commitment to Inter.
“It ends here and tomorrow with Sampdoria we will work out what to do. Both Samp and us were absolutely convinced that Andrea would have become an Inter player, so on Monday he will now rejoin them [for pre-season training] and then evaluate what to do.
“We offer a heartfelt thank you to Inter who last year gave Poli an opportunity. Obviously now they have other priorities and we fully respect that.”

DIFENSORI: Silvestre del Palermo è il volto nuovo del ritiro di Pinzolo, mentre Lucio ha salutato tutti, direzione Torino. Maicon è sempre con le valigie in mano (Psg e Chelsea su di lui, con il Real Madrid più defilato), mentre Chivu, Samuel, Ranocchia e Nagatomo ci saranno anche l’anno prossimo. Strama chats Inter transfers
Inter Coach Andrea Stramaccioni gave a few hints about incoming and outgoing transfers at Inter this summer in an interview with Sky.
Talking from the club’s pre-season camp, the former youth team Coach began with Giampaolo Pazzini and admitted that in light of links to Juventus this week, he will probably be sold.
“Giampaolo is a player of great value and we know it. However, I have no problems saying that from my current options, my first choice is Diego Milito,” reflected Stramaccioni.
“Based on this choice, Inter has the right to make assessments on marketing strategies.”
Pazzini transferred to Inter from Sampdoria in the winter of 2011 but has struggled for form recently, scoring a mere five goals in 33 matches in all competitions last year.
Inter look to have lost out on Andrea Poli, after his agent pulled out of negotiations with the club last night. Poli was said to be wanted by Stramaccioni.
“My admiration for Andrea is nothing new. But of course there are market trends that depend neither on Poli nor on the Coach.
“Negotiations didn't go as the two clubs had hoped, but that's fairly normal when doing transfer dealings.”
Stramaccioni then turned his attention to rumoured transfer target Paulinho as well as addressing Wesley Sneijder, who this week was linked with a move to Russia to join ex-teammate Samuel Eto’o.
“Paulinho? I don’t know if he’s a true objective of ours - it’s better to ask [Inter director Marco] Branca.
“As far as I know, [Sneijder] is an Inter player and will remain. I have not had any other news from the directors, the club, or the player himself.
“Though, of course, if an offer arrived like the one that attracted Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva, anyone could be sold, except for Ivan Cordoba and Javier Zanetti.
“My dream is to have three attack-minded players, but of course a team has to be able to cope with that and find the right balance.
“I don't really like talking about numbers because I believe the most important thing is the idea the team takes onto the pitch; a team must have a clear identity.”
The Coach also reflected on how it has been stepping up from the youth team to the senior squad this year and whether he felt any fear in doing so.
“There's never been any fear. My main concern is to repay our amazing fans and of course President [Massimo] Moratti for their faith in me. Fear is not a word that I like to associate with sport.
“I don't think there's a secret or a winning formula - what instils me with confidence is being myself. I just take on to the pitch the things I know how to do and I think that is what prompted the President to make this choice. There's no secret other than being yourself and saying what you think.
“True, I don't have a single appearance in Serie A, and that's a great regret of mine, as I left home with the dream of becoming a footballer. But, clearly, things were supposed to turn out differently.
“Looking back, I can't deny that I was sad to leave Roma but then I got the chance to see Inter and the first team ‘from below’. So I was able to get to know people and places without anyone imagining that I might one day make it to the first team.”

Inter beat FC Koper in friendly
Inter have ended their pre-season training retreat at Pinzolo with a friendly win over Slovenian side FC Koper.
The Nerazzurri took on their opponents at Rovereto where boss Andrea Stramaccioni opted to start with a 4-2-3-1 system.
After a goalless first half, the Nerazzurri opened the scoring in the 56th minute with a goal from Walter Samuel after he got on the end of a Fredy Guarin free-kick.
Fifteen minutes later, the Beneamata made it 2-0 thanks to some individual brilliance from Philippe Coutinho. Giampaolo Pazzini was again left out of the squad given that he is available for transfer.

first team,no to mention COU ,we have him ,
who need Sneyder .why bother go to brazil and spending
track load of money for players not as good as our
primavera.destro we give away and if he was brasilian

Coutinho impresses Inter teammates
Samir Handanovic and Diego Milito have hailed the ability of Inter teammate Philippe Coutinho.
The latter, a 20-year-old attacking midfielder, has returned to San Siro after a six-month loan spell at Espanyol.
The Brazilian has impressed in pre-season so far and scored a wonderful goal in Sunday’s 2-0 friendly win over Slovenian side Koper.
“It's better to have Coutinho on your team rather than face him as an opponent,” the goalkeeper noted to Inter Channel. ”He's very good.”
Milito added: “He’s a fantastic player, we knew he was a bit special. The time in Spain has done him good and he'll help us a lot this year. He’s different to other players.”
Coutinho himself is content with the way he has played so far under new Coach Andrea Stramaccioni.
“I'm happy, the team is doing well and we're improving every day,” he noted. “Hopefully we'll be in good shape come the start of the season.
“The Coach talks to all of us, I'm trying to help out more when we're not in possession and in attack. I feel good and I'm delighted.”

I don't understand why we couldn't pay 6.5m for Poli. He is young and had shown enough during the last year for us to buy him outright. Now we have lost out on Paulinho and we will end up getting Mudingayi. I don't know how this is better than getting Poli.
