Udinese have confirmed the signing of Caen centre-back Thomas Heurtaux on a two-year deal.

The 23-year-old had recently indicated that he would be moving to the Stadio Friuli at the end of the season, with French sources claiming that a fee of €2 million had been agreed.

The Normandy native came through the ranks at Caen, and spent his entire career with the club, apart from a loan spell at Cherbourg in 2008-09, when he scored two goals in 25 appearances.

Heurtaux represented the club 65 times, scoring five goals in the process, to establish himself in the Caen first team.

Les Malherbes were relegated at the end of the Ligue 1 season, and the 23-year-old elected to end his association with the club.

The move represents Udinese's second summer signing, following confirmation that Vasco da Gama's Allan will move to the club in the summer.

Udinese finished third in Serie A this campaign, securing a place in the Champions League play-off round for a second consecutive season.

Antonio Floro Flores has confirmed he is set to join Spanish side Granada, a club owned by Udinese patrons the Pozzo family.

The striker has had difficulties with Coach Francesco Guidolin and the fans in the last few months of his stay at the Stadio Friuli.

He was due to be sold, but confirmed today via a Twitter picture of his contract and the phrase 'We're going to Spain' that there is another plan.

Udinese will loan Floro Flores to Granada so he can gain Liga experience and improve himself as a player.

It is expected to be a one-season loan with no option to buy, although both clubs are owned by the Pozzo family.

He’d be the second Udinese player to be revitalised at Granada after Gabriel Torje made the move on loan earlier this month.

Losing those two players is a big lose for Udinese, obviously. But at least they got decent money for them.

I don't think it will be that big a deal for Udinese. Willians will be an efficient direct replacement for asamoah, where as Basta proved last season he can replace Isla on the right

I think replacing Di Natale will be the real challenge. I hope they get an easier draw in the prelims this year.

I'd imagine that Udinese will be looking at Cuadrado as the direct replacement for Isla.

He certainly looked decent enough playing RWB for Lecce last season.

Pereyra, yeah, thats another player that I was impressed with when I seen him. Neuton is also a player who impressed me, although I think he is more of a defender then attacking wing-back. Ekstrand is another right-back, i believe, who also looks good. Udinese certainly have a lot of talented young players.

And speaking of players on loan at Lecce, Luis Muriel was another was another who had a great season. Whats his story, will be staying at Udinese for next season?
