I know what you're saying, Fonz, and you know in general I agree with you on Moaninho - it's pathetic the way the media lap up his really quite-flatfooted and very predictable lines as 'wit'. In this case, though, I'm with DCG - it's not Zeman's fault or Moaninho's fault, but the interviewer's who springs this bullshit question on him from nowhere. It's not like Real are about to play Roma or that there's any other direct motivation for the question. I agree with Zeman and I'm sure he could defend his line very strongly; in this instance, though, it's the journalist who's just being rude and provocative and so Moaninho duly gives him what he wants.

RASSEGNA STAMPA - L'affare Borini si complica. Se entro le 19 di oggi Roma e Parma non dovessero trovare un accordo, per Fabio decideranno le buste. Come sottolinea 'Il Tempo', la Roma è pronta ad acquistare l'intero cartellino dell'attaccante, investendo altri 5 milioni di euro. Il procuratore Marco De Marchi è stato chiaro nell'incontro a Milano con il ds: «Fabio non vuole restare un'altra stagione in comproprietà». La Roma è rimasta spiazzata, non ha gradito e teme che dietro l'«impuntatura» di Borini ci sia l'offerta di un'altra squadra, probabilmente la stessa che ha spinto il Parma a rimescolare le carte. L'Inter è la maggiore indiziata, dall'estero sono piombati Psg e Liverfekkin'wankscum. La Roma mette sul piatto circa 5 milioni di euro per la metà del cartellino, il Parma è sceso sotto i 6, si discute anche sulle modalità di pagamento. Tra gli affari minori, la Roma ha esercitato il controriscatto per D'Alessandro che rientra da Verona, probabilmente solo di passaggio, a differenza di Stoian: il Bari ha riscattato la metà per 300mila euro. Ancora in bilico il futuro di Florenzi: il Crotone ha chiesto 2 milioni per «restituirlo» ai giallorossi e non desist.

Still no agreement with Parma over Borini. We have until 7pm Italian to reach an agreement or it goes to the envelopes. We're offering €5m but Parma want more, and are holding out with the chance of getting him as there are other clubs who are interested in him.

We've brought back D'Alessandro from Verona, while Bari have bought half of Stoian for €300,000. Florenzi's future is still undecided, Crotone want €2m I think, but it looks like it could go to the envelopes too. If we lose Borini, it'll be disappointing, but we'll get over it, but I don't want to lose Florenzi at any cost.

ROMA (MF-DJ)--Al termine della sessione di mercato della Campagna Trasferimenti dedicata all'esercizio dei diritti di opzione e controopzione previsti nei trasferimenti e nelle cessioni di contratto relativi alla stagione sportiva 2011/2012, As Roma ha concluso operazioni relative a 10 giocatori.

Il club capitolino, si legge in una nota, ha nel dettaglio riscattato per 0,1 mln euro Luca Antei dall'Us Grosseto e per la stessa cifra Marco D'Alessandro dall'Hellas Verona. E' stato inoltre siglato un accordo di compartecipazione per Gianluca Caprari con la Delfino Pescara 1936 SrL per 1,2 mln euro e per Alessandro Florenzi per 0,25 mln con il Crotone.

L'As Roma ha quindi riscattato per 0,25 mln Paolo Frascatore dal Benevento Calcio mentre ha siglato un accordo di liquidazione consensuale a proprio favore dell'accordo di partecipazione in essere con l'Albinoleffe per Alessandro Malomo per 0,1 mln.

Il club ha quindi firmato un accordo di compartecipazione per Mattia Montini per 0,2 mln con il Benevento, per Stefano Pettinari per 0,25 mln con il Crotone, per Marius Andrian Stoiana con il Bari per 0,3 mln e per Junior Tallo per 1 mln con il ChievoVerona. com/mur rosario.murgida@mfdowjones.it

I heard Florenzi talk about Fabregas as his idol before, I think. Important to remember he's only a kid, I suppose. Our players really need to get new idols, though. So Florenzi is was bought on co-ownership by Crotone, but we still have plans to bring him back? Hope we can. Good news Borini is staying.

Fabregas is a much more gifted and much less over-rated player than Gerrard is, Collie.

100% disagree. I don't think Fabergas is great at all. No point discussing this one though, because not even god coming out of the clouds to confirm it would make me think otherwise on this subject.

Not saying that some don't over-hype Gerrard too, but he's done a lot and always impressed me over the years. I can't remember seeing one game where Fabergas did something truly special. He's a good player, but that's it for me.
