I believe RVP is on the last year of his contract. If he's looking to leave, Arsenal don't have much of choice but to sell him. There would also be a lot of teams interested in him. He'd really have to want to come to Juve for that deal to happen. He has been amazing this year but he's really injury prone, so I'd think twice about investing him as your big forward signing.

I haven't seen much of Falcao but his record speaks for itself, and the youtube videos i've seen have some nice goals. That being he was just bought for 40 mil as a replacement for Sergio Aguero. I'm not sure Atletico willing to part ways, and even if they are it would be for a price greater than 40 mil.

My first choice would be Cavani. I think he's worth the 60 mil, although I'm pretty sure that was De Laurentis playing hardball. Add a player or two to the deal[Elia? Krasic? (not Giovinco)], and negotiate the price...

I think they would want Giovinco, not Elia and Krasic who both can go collectively for 8-10 mil tops with no playing time. Elia and Krasic wouldn't put a dent in that 60 mil pricetag. As good as Cavani is, he is not worth 60 mil and I don't see Juve spending over 30+mil for any player. Then again, I could be wrong after wasting 15 million on Matri.

Juve eye Borriello discount

Juventus will reportedly consider buying Marco Borriello from Roma if they can negotiate a cut-price deal.

The striker joined the Turin giants in January on a €500,000 loan, with the option to sign him outright in the summer for a further €8m.

A Turin future did look unlikely for the player given his subsequent performances for the Old Lady, but he’s now scored two goals in his last two games for the club.

As a result, the Bianconeri will ponder keeping the Italian international in Turin – but only if they can negotiate a reduced fee.

Juve director general Beppe Marotta and assistant Fabio Paratici will allegedly open talks with the Giallorossi to see whether they have any room for manoeuvre.

This makes no sense. The guy scores two consecutive goals against the bottom two teams in the league and that's enough for us to make a 180 turn? I'll grant him the Cesena goal was clutch, and could end up being decisive, but it's no reason to go wasting money on this clown. We don't need another decent forward on our squad we have enough of those. We need a world class target-man.

Juve in pole position for Spurs target Damiao


Juventus head the lengthy queue to sign Internacional's highly-rated striker Leandro Damiao, according to the player's agent.

Brazil international Damiao, who has been labelled "the new Ronaldo" by the man himself, was the subject of bids from Tottenham and PSG during the January transfer window, but both were rebuffed by his club.

However, Internacional are expected to allow Damiao to make the move to Europe in the summer, and despite Real Madrid showing an interest, the 22-year-old apparently has his heart set on in playing in Serie A.

"Leandro really likes Juventus, he wants to play for them because they are one of the best teams in the world. Juventus are our first choice," Vinicius Prates told TuttoMercatoWeb.

"Leandro is a valuable player, he has a lot of eyes on him, from all over Europe. I had contact with [Juventus officials] Fabio Paratici and Giuseppe Marotta last year. I know that compared to the directors of Real, they are better, so I would say that Leandro prefers Juventus to Real Madrid."

Damiao won the Copa Libertadores with Brazilian club Internacional in 2010 and has won five caps for his country.

I have my worries about Torres. There is no doubting his talent, but I don't think he is mentally tough enough to handle another club switch. I hope he has a great CL Final though and I hope I am wrong about him. For the right price, it wouldn't be a bad risk.

RVP is a top player and would be a smart signing... but I think if we were willing to spend the money on him, it would make more sense to dump our bank for Cavani. He is a Juve player through and through and would be my #1 choice. IDK how serious DeLaurentis is about the 60m price tag, and I am not sure where he values guys like Elia and Krasic, but I am pretty sure that he values Giovinco highly. If this were true, as much as I like the little midget, I wouldn't hesitate to offer Giovinco and 20m for Cavani.

Falcao may be too expensive, but we do have some trade bait for Atletico that could bring the price within reason. I don't think clubs like Atletico can realistically expect to keep top players like Falcao around for long.

Van Persie has one year left on his contract, so if he tells Arsenal that he wants to leave Arsenal have little choice but to listen to offers.

Thats what Arsewipe fans I've been talking to are fearing with Podolski's signing – is he there to strengthen the squad or is there as a pre-emptive signing to replace RVP?

My feeling is that RVP will want to leave. Loyalty means little in football these days, and he will want to leave for a club capable of challenging more. And the money, obviously.

Atletico Madrid have said it will be very hard for them to keep Falcao if they don't qualify for the CL next season.

They are two points behind fourth placed Malaga going into the final game of the season.

Izco agent confirms 'dream' Juve talks
