DDR at centre-back again? What does that say about Heinze? Our best two centre-backs out long-term with dodgy ginocchio's, and Heinze, as our fourth choice centre-back if you will, can't get a game for the second game running. Perhaps now people are beginning to realise that he's not a centre-back after all and it far too much of a liability there?

DDR alongside Kjaer does give us more stability back there but its far from ideal as Daniele is not a natural man-marker (especially up against someone like Jovetic). It also weakens us in that defensive-midfield role, as we know thats were DDR is an absolute monster (none better in world football, even), and Gago has been far from impressive in that role in recent weeks.

to be honest i think we need an upgrade at the dmf position for next season. yes, ddr is good but he's getting old and i'd really like someone like moussa sissoko there instead. or the brazillian kid we were chasing before, i forget his name.

I actually don't think too many players will be coming in next season. I think we will add two solid signings (CM and and CB), but the rest I think will be coming from the youth team. This is assuming we don't make the CL, of course.
