I understand what you were intending, and it was a funny prank to pull upon your return, but its not really appropriate when we have situations like this. Now I don't want to seem like a tyrant or anything and I'm genuinely glad to see you back, David, but now this is a bit of an awkward situation.

In this Roma thread we have lots of links and news items and we've being trying to make it a good place for people to visit and check up on the latest Roma news and discussion, and we have lots of new members who, shockingly, come just to talk Roma (and not just members, the Roma thread is open so guests can view it and we have a huge amount of traffic and guests reading here). And its also not fair on those new members who may not get what the feck a link like that is doing here and think we're all a pack of fruitcakes.

So if we could avoid situation like that in future it would be best for all, I think. Simon, apologies if it got you stung in work, we'll try not to let it happen again.
