Pleasant result against Barce. It will make the second leg very interesting for sure. A scoring draw is certainly possible. Robinho's miss was absolutely terrible, unbecoming of a professional footballer. It was not that difficult to make a decent connection and get it on target. Nesta was magnificent and Seedorf too. Seedorf will have to go down as one of the most complete and classiest footballer's of all time.

For all of Nocerino's endeavour, I cannot forgive 10-yard passes to opposing players. I know they press hard but pass the ball accurately to a team mate. If you cannot do that, then instead of beautifully weighting a pass to an opponent, smash it off the opponent. If you smash the ball into Busquet's stomach he will go down and not be able to use the ball.

Il gol fantasma di Robinho al Catania farà parlare a lungo ma la chiamata era molto difficile a occhio nudo. Più gravi i fuorigioco inesistenti chiamati a Ibra e Boateng

Diciamo subito una cosa: dopo cento replay e decine d’inquadrature diverse, non c’è una certezza assoluta sul gol fantasma di Robinho (20’ s.t.). La respinta di Marchese sembra arrivare quando la palla si trova oltre la linea di porta. Ma non c’è certezza che l’abbia varcata per intero: il regolamento dice che per essere gol nessuna proiezione della circonferenza della palla deve toccare un qualunque punto della linea. Davvero dura valutare l’episodio per l’assistente Ghiandai che decide di non assegnare la rete. Un caso simile, comunque, sarebbe stato di difficile lettura anche per un eventuale giudice di porta, mentre forse solo una tecnologia ben rodata e affidabile avrebbe potuto dare risposte sicure. Il Milan, però, si sente defraudato di un’altra marcatura non vista, dopo quella clamorosa (e senza dubbi) di Muntari ignorata contro la Juve.

LE ALTRE DECISIONI — I rossoneri, tra l’altro, attaccano la direzione di Bergonzi e dei suoi collaboratori anche per altre situazioni. Due in particolare, sempre nella ripresa: i fuorigioco inesistenti chiamati a Ibra e Boateng. Anche queste sono valutazioni di Ghiandai: si tratta di errori grossolani e con poche attenuanti. Addirittura nel secondo caso la bandierina si alza nonostante un particolare non indifferente: il rossonero, lanciato negli spazi lasciati liberi dalla difesa, era partito dalla propria metà campo... Insomma, serata storta per il primo assistente, ma non altrettanto si può dire di Marzaloni. È lui, infatti, a far annullare una rete a Gomez a inizio secondo tempo (Milan avanti 1-0): non è l’argentino in posizione irregolare, ma Bergessio che gli serve l’assist in semirovesciata. Il guardalinee se ne accorge nonostante l’incrocio e appena l’attaccante tocca la palla, ferma l’azione. Chiamata difficile, ma perfetta.
