Lads, I just noticed that The Man's account was set to 'inactive', which is quote unusual. The reason given was that 'Profile details changed'. He was last active at the start of this month but may have been unable to log on. I've fixed it now and PM'd him.

the game against roma was wonderful. it was our most dominating performance of the year, i'm not even sure if roma came to play. if it wasn't for our lax finishing, we could've won by at least 7 goals. the 2-1 scoreline was completely flattering for roma, they were sucking way too much dick for one day.

i just don't know if this performance is a merit for how damn good of a team we are or how horribly shit roma is. ambrosini megging de rossi on 2 separate occasions was pretty cool too, everybody and their mom had a turn at running rings around de rossi. good win overall, completely deserved. as for roma, based on that performance, i'm not sure if they'll be able to avoid relegation this season.

good team effort. roma got lucky that thiago got injured which allowed for that comedy of errors of a goal of theirs. made the game look closer than it really was

I'm usually pretty quick to dismiss youngsters, and El Shaarawy is certainly a long way from the finished product, but he can become good.

And you can't listen to coaches talking about their own players because they are inevitably going to big them up.

i think that we might nick a goal or two, but we'll definitely give up a few as well. a goal-scoring draw is the best i can come up with, and even i feel that it is an optimistic outlook.

it will be interesting to see what formation allegri lines up initially, ambrosini, nocerino and boateng are certain starters. the last spot is between seedrof, aquilani and urby. if he tries to use energy to press them all over the pitch, urby would be the way to go. my biggest concern would be messi running through ambrosini's legs and constantly getting a free run at either nesta or mexes. ambrosini does not maintain a proper position at all, and he allows too many free runs at the center-backs. nesta might be able to limit messi, that's huge question by itself, but mexes commits himself to tackle very early if he's far from goal and it's never a good conclusion.

if we can at least give them hell and try our hardest, i will be satisfied. just play for some pride is all i want to see. this result is already written, but if we could break a bone or 2 (busquets' preferably) that would be some icing on the cake. also, some quality barca diving would be great so that we can have something to complain about after the games.

Is Nesta fit enough to play a full 90 minutes? If he's not this tie truly is over before its begun. And why is Ambrosini likely to start, no other options? He was muck against Roma. (Oh, is MVB suspended? Thats a blow)

Thiago Silva is probably your most important player (yes, even more so than the mighty I-Am-Zlatan) so its a massive blow. With him on the pitch you had a chance but now its very difficult to see you keeping a clean sheet, so its a question of how many you concede and how many you score.

I think their success after Inter's dominance has been down to the arrival of Ibrahimovic. He is good at scoring consistently in the league. You need someone who will consistently score against the minnows (and more); those points add up. However, Juventus seem to be going in the right direction. They are being linked with Hernanes who would be a good addition. With their new stadium income every year, it is only a matter of time for the old lady to dominate again. Granted there is a lot of deadwood on payroll in Turin and they need too purchase a quality forward. Villarreal are ready to part with Beppe Rossi, next year could be a tremendous year for Juventus.

Yeh, Zlatan has played a big part for sure. He likes to stand-out and score against the minnows whilst then going on to play the invisible man in the bigger games.

Agreed on Juve, too, if they can get a top-quality striker they'll be in a position to seriously challenge Milan's dominance. I'm not sure if Rossi is the man for that role, though; given Conti's preference for a 4-3-3 they need a big, physical prima-punta through the middle – much like Matri, but one who can also regularly find the net.

rossi, surprisingly, is a prima punta. i'd love for him to come to milan, with ibra playing behind him. sell pato and get rossi would be magic. although if we can fix pato, sell robinho and get rossi.

i still think pato can be a remarkable player, in fact, i should say that he will be an amazing player. whether it is at milan, that is up to him.

Rossi is a prima punta? How do you figure that? Perhaps in a more modern sense of the the term he is, but I see him as more a seconda punta, someone who's at his best playing off a big forward and making runs in behind. Not quite what Juventus need in my view.

at villareal he is always leading the line. his speed and movement cause constant problems to the opposing defense.
