I haven't really seen a conclusive replay of the incident with Mexes, I don't see why he would choose to go down if he could have stayed on his feet and cut out the cross to The Waterboy. Mexes isn't one for diving. He's not Chiellini, like.

at the end of the day, the turnover leading to juve's goal was ridiculous. mesbah was robbed off the ball on our left flank. he should've booted the ball away from pressure. instead he lost the ball and the goal was conceded.

mexes is an idiot for trying to look for an off the ball foul in the area. he's no de 'embellisher' rossi that's for sure.

it didn't look like a foul to me; mexes just seemed to trip. saw no fault in the goal.

i'm pretty happy we never got tevez, but mexes looks to be the biggest bust.

also, i think we have a lot of shitty players on the team. mesbah, el shaarawy, antonini, maxi lopez just to name a few. but they are young shitty players who may get better, learn, improve; not your panuccis, favallis, brocchis, etc. so there are positives. if nothing else, it shows that club mentality is refocusing to development, so even if none of these players will become any good, another one might in the not-too-distant future. we need more abates; he seemed pretty shit in his early games. just a shame that pippo no longer seems able to contribute in the rare times he comes on, so it looks like it's time to say goodbye.

You know that Antonini is 29? At this rate he is going to be the first player to not have a prime, but go straight from promising youngster to experienced player.

Maxi Lopez and Mesbah at 27 are hardly young.

And Mesbah is rubbish. Just rubbish.

El Shaarawy could well become a very good player, if he works hard and is coached well.

And I think that post is offensive to Panucci, Favalli and Brocchi who were all perfectly decent players and miles better than much of Milan's current squad.
