We still Iaquinta out on loan, and when both ar in form Iaquinta is a lot for versatile/useful, although I doubt we'll keep him either. I'm almost certain Giovinco will make a return taking Deł Piero's spot, and for the remaining spot I think we're going to try buy a world class player.

Italian media including Tuttosport are reporting that Tottenham Hotspur are casting their eyes towards Juventus manager Antonio Conte in case Harry Redknapp leaves the club.

Redknapp is widely thought of as a shoe-in for the England and though the clamour for his appointment has faded slightly lately, he's still odds-on to get the job. Tottenham have been irritated by the talk and even asked the Premiershit to send letters to other managers to request they stop speaking about Redknapp and the national team.

But just as Tottenham will be disappointed if their manager leaves, another club will share the same frustration if Spurs then subsequently come in for their manager. Tuttosport say that man could be Antonio Conte.

If the English press were reporting this then we'd automatically think it arrogant, why would Conte want to leave title challenging European giants Juventus where he spent the majority of his career? He's doing well, the crowd love him and the club is moving forward as a whole, the new Juventus Stadium really helping to galvanise support.

It would be an audacious move likely to end in failure but Tottenham will have the compensation from The FA for Redknapp to play with should he take over the national team. In effect they could pay a hefty transfer fee for their new manager, something which would have been unheard of several years ago but it's similar to what Chelsea did with Villas Boas.

Juventus are in second place, four points behind AC Milan in Serie A and much of the credit for that has been given to Conte. Whilst any realistic chances of him moving to London may be low, if Turin based Tuttosport are correct, it certainly means Tottenham are looking at the cream of the crop for their next boss.

Giaccherini set for Juve stay

The agent of Emanuele Giaccherini has rubbished reports that the Juventus man could end up at Lazio or Genoa in the summer.

The versatile midfielder, part-owned with Cesena, isn’t guaranteed first team football in Turin following his 2011 arrival.

However, agent Furio Valcareggi has told Tutto Juve that the player will continue his career in Turin.

“There is absolutely no truth in the Genoa and Lazio stories,” the representative stated. “It’s pure fantasy.

“Giaccherini is really happy at Juventus and he has a four-year contract. The club don’t intend to let him go and the player doesn’t want to leave.

“Whoever would want Giaccherini would have to pay around €10m and I don’t think that Genoa or Lazio are prepared to make that kind of investment.”

Juventus and Cesena will have to hold talks at the end of the campaign to discuss the 26-year-old’s future.

Giaccherini has appeared in 17 League games so far this season, scoring one goal in the process. He has two goals in four Coppa Italia ties.

According to German rumours, to obtain 24 year old midfielder Zdravko Kuzmanovic, Juventus could offer to Stuttgart 23 year old Dutch winger Eljero Elia.

One average player for another... no thanks.

Juve consider Drogba swoop

Didier Drogba could make a sensational free transfer to Juventus in the summer if he doesn’t extend his Chelsea contract.

The Ivory Coast international is likely to be released by the Stamford Bridge side when his current deal expires in June.

He has been heavily linked with a move to China or the American MLS, but Juve could offer him the opportunity to test himself in Serie A and the Champions League.

Although Drogba is 34, his experience could be a valuable addition to Antonio Conte’s side in their return to Europe.

Drogba was also linked with a move to Milan in recent years.

I think I'd be against a move for Drogba. You can't deny his talent and experience, although I don't know his current form. He has a shit attitude when things are going wrong, and can potentially be a negative influence on the field under the wrong coach. I think conte could handle him, but that's besides the point. If you were going to bring in Drogba, with whom i'm assuming comes a pretty high salary, why didn't we just keep Trezeguet?
If we're going to offer any 33 years+ player a contract Deł Piero better already be signed up.

Inter’s Ranocchia watched by trio

Torino, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly monitoring Andrea Ranocchia’s situation at Inter.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the trio are ready to make a bid for the player if there is the possibility of a summer exit.

Ranocchia moved to San Siro in January 2011 from Genoa in a deal that was worth around €18m in total.

The Italian international impressed during his first six months with the Beneamata, but he has struggled badly this term.

Fitness and form issues have limited him to just nine top-flight appearances so far which have led to doubts over his future at the club and his place at Euro 2012.

Torino will apparently ask for the player on loan should they successfully win promotion to Serie A.

Juventus, meanwhile, have an admirer in boss Antonio Conte given that he worked with the 24-year-old at Arezzo and Bari.

I cant see Arsenal dumping their best player, but he is getting to old for Arsehole Wanker (<--- see what i did there).

Wondering how good of an option Falcao would be. He has a great scoring record, works hard off the ball and is at a good age to make some noise for a while.
