Rumours continue to push want-away Fiorentina midfielder Riccardo Montolivo towards a summer Bosman switch to Milan.

The Italian international is widely known to be leaving Florence in the summer on a free transfer after seven years with La Viola. Whilst he enraged club officials during the breakdown of contract negotiations in late 2011, the player remained at the Artemio Franchi over the January transfer window.

Reports within a week of the winter window closing suggested that the 27-year-old was on the verge of agreeing to a Bosman switch in July to Milan.

Florence-based radio station Lady Radio led such rumours then and today have now claimed that the 31-times capped midfielder has finalised negotiations with the Rossoneri on a €2.5m-a-season, four-year contract, with the option for a fifth also available.

it's crazy how well we played on sunday without ibra. robinho and emanuelson dropping off into pockets of space and the ball was constantly in cesena's half and not ours. that is how we should be play. the second half was a bit of a drab, with abbiati being the regista again.

good to hear about mount olive, i'm not sure which position he'll play, but i wouldn't mind if he's the middle of the 3 in midfield.

Milan have defended Zlatan Ibrahimovic after his car struck a woman outside of the club’s training ground on Tuesday. The unnamed female in question, who claims to be a journalist, received treatment for a hand injury at hospital after it was caught by Ibra’s wing-mirror as she stood in the middle of a road.

The Rossoneri today issued a brief note insisting that the Swedish international striker could not be held responsible for what occurred. There are suggestions that he could face a police inquiry given that he failed to stop after the incident.

It's an absolute fucking joke and an utter disgrace..... not that he's the most well behaved player in the world, but how he gets suspended for more than one game let alone three, for this ridiculous "offence", is beyond me....fucking retards running this league

That being said, this could be a blessing in disguise as we're usually a little more dynamic and less predictable without Ibra...I hope Boateng is fit, then I'm for using Boateng-Robinho-Pato trident...also looks like Maxi is out

i don't mind seeing robinho and emanuelson supporting any other striker but ibra. the way they played against cesena was fantastic. i'm sure juve will be a lot more difficult, but if they can pick and choose the correct pockets of space they can be devastating.

allegri needs only one defensive plan; man mark the shit out of pirlo. we did that in the preseason friendly and rocked them. a lot has changed, sure, but we can't let pirlo have a free reign like the last 2 games.

We dont have much choices in midfield, we pretty much have the midfield decided for us and it will be the same as the one vs Cesena (with Van Bommel replacing Ambro)...its gonna hurt without Boateng but somehow I still feel confident...a win would be huge for us and we should take the game to them seeing as they will likely play for the draw....however I dont see a draw as a disastrous result for us but disappointing for sure, we need to make sure we don't leave space for their counters, it's imperative we are patient and not force the issue, if the midfield can play a decent game we got a great shot, midfield is our main concern.

we have to be patient, juve are the best counter-attacking team in italy and we can't give them the opportunity to have us running backwards.

i won't be able to watch the game live, i'll be flying to seattle for a wedding, but hopefully we get a good result. we got this shit. we have the confidence, hopefully we'll have the swagger to close this game.
