Anzhi swoop for Sneijder?

There are reports Anzhi will offer Wesley Sneijder €10m per season to join his former Inter teammate Samuel Eto’o in Russia this month.

The club already broke records by signing Eto’o from the Nerazzurri over the summer for €25m with a three-year contract thought to be worth €20m after tax per season.

According to reports on Sportmediaset today, Anzhi are back in contact with Inter and ready to swoop for Sneijder as well.

The Russian transfer window does not close until February 24, so theoretically they could sign him before the end of the month.

Sneijder also spoke to Dutch television and did not close the door to a transfer away from San Siro.

“I always look out for what could happen and never shut down any option,” said the midfielder.

“I am happy at Inter, but we’ll see what happens. I am not in contact with any other clubs and if a side had made an offer on the last day of the transfer window, I could’ve left.

“I can’t know where I will be playing next year. I have thought about the United States, but in future. As for Manchester United, I see everything that goes on around me, as I’m not blind, but there were never any concrete negotiations.”

Not only during the Ramadan he is a problem. I always thought that when he played, he has a 95% chance to get a booking and a good 30% chance to get sent off. Then again if Milan get him in as a sub, the percentage diminishes, but yes there is a bigger chance that he screwes his team rather than help them. His ideal field of play is the EPL because most fouls that are called in Italy aren't called there..but he is a damn late tackler and a chicken brain.

Spalletti won't be coming to Inter anytime soon anyway, he's extended his contract with Zenit. If you're against Capello becoming manager of Inter, and you can't see Ranieri lasting much longer, then your options are running pretty thin.

If Gasperini was fired because he didn't make the most of the players at his disposal and stuck to his preferred system, i wonder could the same thing not happen with Ranieri? Both Snjeider and Alvarez don't quite fit.

briz, it's because allegri is a fucking idiot.

he said that he 'decentralized' our playmaker, so we didn't really need pirlo anymore. and pirlo was one of the top earners at the club, so it was either to give a 30 year old player a big contract knowing that the coach doesn't have much use for him, or to let him walk. we let him walk. and now we play the ugliest brand of football in the italian top-flight.

i'd still take pirlo back in a heartbeat, but what i want the most is for allegri to fuck off.
