Genoa sign Immobile and Carvalho

Genoa have announced they’ve paid €4m for half of Under-21 international Ciro Immobile and signed Brazilian Roger Carvalho.

“Today at 14.00 we bought out half of Immobile’s contract from Juventus for €4m,” said President Enrico Preziosi.

Immobile is an Under-21 international striker and currently the Serie B Capocannoniere with 16 goals for Pescara.

He turns 22 next month and has also played on loan at Siena and Grosseto since graduating from the Juventus youth academy in 2010.

“We have decided to discuss Boakye with the Bianconeri in June. Meanwhile, we’ve already signed Brazilian defender Roger Carvalho, who is undergoing his medical right now.”

Carvalho is a 25-year-old centre-back owned by Figueirense who had also been tracked by Tottenham and Shakhtar Donetsk.

Juventus have confirmed that Luca Toni has left the club after agreeing a deal with UAE Pro-League outfit Al Nasr.

The 34-year-old leaves the side a year after arriving from Genoa on a free transfer. He scored two goals in 15 games for the Old Lady, but hasn’t appeared this season.

Juventus, in a brief note on their website, have revealed that the striker has been sold on a permanent basis to the Dubai-based outfit.

Toni had just six months left on his Turin contract and joins Amauri through the exit after the latter signed for Fiorentina last week.

Al Nasr are bossed by former Inter and Italy goalkeeper Walter Zenga.

Catania have announced on their official website that they have secured the services of Marco Motta from Juventus on loan until the end of the season.

The Sicilians were keen to add some more depth to their back line before the winter transfer window slammed shut and head coach Vincenco Montella sees the 25-year-old as the perfect signing.

Motta started his professional career with Atalanta and also wore the jerseys of Udinese, Torino and Roma before joining Juventus in the summer of 2010.

The right-back became a first-team regular in his maiden season at the Old Lady, but has mainly been warming the bench in his second year at Juventus under head coach Antonio Conte.

The Merate-born defender was therefore keen to move on in order to relaunch his career elsewhere and he will now try his luck at Catania, aiming to help them improve on their current standing as 15th in Serie A.

Seems Juve have signed Padoin from Atalanta for ~4.5m after failing to convince Cagliari to sell Nainggolan this month.

Means Pazienza is probably on his way, probably to Udinese.

Juventus have confirmed that they have signed Simone Padoin from Atalanta on a permanent basis.

The midfielder has put pen to paper on a five-year contract after a €5m fee was agreed between the two clubs.

Padoin, 27, is a midfielder who has actually played for the Old Lady in the past after he was allowed to briefly join them on a tour of America.

The former Vicenza player, who grew up in the Atalanta youth system, was targeted after Juve failed to sign Radja Nainggolan from Cagliari and Fiorentina’s Valon Behrami.

Vincenzo Iaquinta thinks he can re-establish himself in the Italian game after leaving Juventus for Cesena.

The 32-year-old has signed for the relegation threatened side after a loan deal was agreed between all parties.

“It’s an ideal place for me to re-launch my career,” the World Cup winner told TMW. “I’m happy and I want to demonstrate something important. I can’t wait to start.”

The former Udinese player hasn’t appeared at all for Juve this term and will now partner Adrian Mutu in attack at the Stadio Manuzzi.

“I say thank you to Juventus, I hold no grudges, and also to the fans who have always treated me like a great player,” he added.

“Mutu is a fine forward, but there is not only him. Cesena are a side with quality.

“I don’t think that I will play tomorrow, but I do believe and hope that I could feature at the weekend. I haven’t played a game since March and I certainly won’t have 90 minutes in me.”

Cesena face Napoli on Wednesday before taking on Catania.

Serie A side Udinese have, as expected, confirmed the capture of Juventus midfielder Michele Pazienza.

The 29-year-old has joined the Stadio Friuli boys on loan for the rest of the season after Juve brought in Atalanta’s Simone Padoin.

The ball-winner made 52 appearances for Udinese during a two-season spell there between 2003 and 2005.

Simone Padoin? Thats a bit of a surprise move, no? For €5m as well, that ain't cheap. I seen his name down through the years but not really all that familiar with him as a player, is he a defensive-midfielder? Also a winger or wing-back, maybe?

Palombo just went to Inter for 1m on loan plus 4m if they decide to buy him, and we just spent 5 mil on Padoin...

Shield: I haven't seen him play much but he was on the u21 squad in portugal(?) for the European championship. We also took him on loan a couple years ago for a couple summer friendlies.

Liverfekkin'wankscum striker Luis Suarez is a target for Italian giants Juventus. The disgraced striker, who was found guilty of racially abusing Manchester United defender Patrice Evra, is wanted as a replacement for Alessandro The Waterboy, who will leave the club in the summer.

The £30million star is expected to receive abuse from fans when he returns for Liverfekkin'wankscum soon. The Merseysiders fear that the Uruguayan may want to rebuild his shattered reputation elsewhere. Suarez, who was brilliant for Uruguay in the last World Cup, joined Liverfekkin'wankscum a year ago.

Pogba set for Old Trafford exit

Manchester United youngster Paul Pogba has agreed to join Italian giants Juventus in the summer, according to reports. There has been no word yet from either United, Juventus or Pogba and his agent Mino Raiola but the Independent and others are reporting that the midfielder has agreed a switch to Serie A.

United boss Sir tender Alex Ferguson had been eager to keep hold of the academy graduate, who made the switch to Old Trafford as a 16-year-old from French side Le Havre in 2009, but it would now seem as if Pogba has decided his future lies elsewhere.

It is understood that the 18-year-old has agreed a £15,000-a-week deal to join the Turin side, who are currently involved in the battle for the Serie A title.

Despite the fact Pogba is out of contract at the end of the season United will receive a compensation fee as the player is under the age of 24.

Had Pogba made the decision to join a Premiershit rival United would be in line for a hefty compensation figure, similar to the initial £3.5million fee, and appearance based additions, received by Manchester City when Daniel Sturridge joined Chelsea in 2009.

However, the rules between different federations are different and the Old Trafford side will only receive around £300,000 as a "training compensation" fee from Juventus.
