Official press release says that Pizza has apologised to LE and his teammates for his behaviour in training, blaming it on a "serious problem problem". He has been allowed to return home to Chile and will likely miss the Chievo game.

ROMA - Dopo l'insubordinazione durante l'allenamento di ieri, quando aveva lasciato il campo in anticipo ignorando i richiami di Luis Enrique davanti a Sabatini, Pizarro oggi si è allenato da solo. La Roma ha spiegato con un comunicato come stanno le cose. Il centrocampista si è scusato con l'allenatore e ha motivato il suo comportamento come conseguenza di un problema familiare. Per questo al giocatore è stato permesso di andare in Cile. Non si sa quando tornerà in Italia, ma di sicuro è fuori per la sfida con il Chievo.

ECCO IL COMUNICATO DELLA ROMA:
"Il calciatore David Pizarro ha oggi sostenuto una seduta differenziata di allenamento, come conseguenza di un atteggiamento non opportuno tenuto al termine della sessione di lavoro di ieri. Lo stesso giocatore si è oggi scusato con l'allenatore e con i compagni di squadra, motivando il proprio comportamento come conseguenza di un grave problema familiare. Comprese le ragioni del giocatore, la Società, d'accordo con l'allenatore, ha concesso a Pizarro la possibilità di raggiungere immediatamente i suoi familiari in Cile".

So Tuttosport say Milan are in for DDR.

CDS say Lazio are in for Casemiro.

I don't care about Casemiro but DDR in a MIlan jersey would be rough for me. Although at least he'd help the coefficient.

Although if he has to go to Milan or Manchester I'd rather the Red of Milan or the blue side of Manchester.

Also, says DDR's agent is due to meet with Baldini in the coming hours/tomorrow morning. Latest whisper is that Sky Italia are reporting that we're offering De Rossi €6m net a season, which is about €9m gross (€180k-per-week). Dunno about a minimum fee release clause.

LE tried a tridente of Pjanic-Totti-Lamela , with Pjanic at trequartista, and a midfield trio of DDR-Gago-Simplicio, so interesting, for all of LE's attacking mentality, we could line-up tomorrow with only one natural striker on the pitch. Bojan to come off the bench as super-sub, and maybe also Borini. Rosi has gotten over his bout of flu and should be ok to start at right wing-back, hopefully he can continue his good form.

Good result and solid enough performance. We played some nice football, but perhaps suffered a little in the final third as the front three hadn't played together, which was to be expected I suppose. We got a little sloppy at periods in the second-half but done enough to hold on and then secure the win with the second. Great to see Totti get the double. Also good to see Caprari get on for his first Serie A appearance of the season.

DDR saying "The standing ovation is not linked to my future because that was for the first time I was subbed in two years. I have very clear ideas about my future but still cannot speak about them, and I continue to work with great satisfaction. Clear ideas? It means being aware of what is said and what is not said. All I want is that Roma win."
