Nice stat. Where'd you get that? I thought he was amazing last night. There was a tackle around the hour mark in which he was beaten by the runner, tried to tackle, then backed out and ran to catch up and went at him again from a better position. Thought it showed the kind of clear-headed, accurate and fair tackling that Roma often lack.

Bojan did do well, yes, but ultimately he missed several easy chances and so has to be judged by that. I hope it doesn't effect his confidence too much, he done all the hard work and on another day with a bit more luck (or by turning his body the correct way) they would have went in. He looked very frustrated coming off – he kicked over a few water bottles or somethin – so hopefully he can channel that anger and use it to get his scoring touch back.

I wasn't that impressed with Lamela. I know he's still young and very much still in the adapting to a new league mode so he needs to be given some slack, for defo, but I think his performances have gone downhill since his first game. There were times last night when he just made silly, basic mistakes, giving it away or having a bad touch, and in the second-half, twice in quick succession he gave the ball away in the opponents box in very good goal-scoring opportunities. He just looked over eager. He has the vision and the touch and all the skill, for sure, but he still needs time to learn.

Gago was impressive alright, and beginning to give DDR a run for his money in the crunching man-and-all tackle stakes. DDR will have to pull out some big guns and mill some cnut in half to show him who's boss. I wonder what Chewna (Romawi) things of Gago now? (he's been awfully quiet since Lady Gago (i still claim copyright over that – Chris copied it from me) started bitch slapping Serie A).

Lamela was fine, he's still learning. you can almost see the process going on during the game. he'll be a gud un. Pjanic is class. I said it already, but despite them being wasteful and annoying in parts, I haven't left a game that pleased in a while. All looking more hopeful.

I don't think they're available yet. I wondered about them right away, to be honest.

As I understand it, the tessera thing is not a club or league initiative, it's a police one. So selling the packages to people without the tessera, which you need for a season ticket, would be illegal. Maybe it was just something to get some headlines. If they wanted to sell out the stadium, they could do something about the ridiculous prices outside of the curvas.

I thought we looked good yesterday overall. Gago puts in his what?, 3rd consecutive MOTM performance. That goal was a stinker though and was a good reminder that J. Surge was an adventure in goalkeeping. Glad he's not our problem anymore.

It now appears that our midfield is pretty well settled and given the fact that we only have 2 or 3 more multi game weeks ahead of us this term there shouldn't be a need for too much rotation.

I don't care for LE's changes at times. When you're ahead by a single goal and you start subbing so that you have only two natural defenders on the pitch it's just reckless to me. I'm all about defending through possession yada, yada but it just strikes me as unnecessary.

I think you'll find Chewna's dislike of Gago never had much to do with his sense of his quality as a player.
