A 1-0 win for Messina on Sunday keeps them firmly in the top half of the league table.
Venezia drew 1-1and stay joint top. Pity about that one point deduction.

A 1-3 home defeat yesterday ended Messina's good run and drops them back to 8th in the table.
Venezia go from strength to strength, with another 2-1 victory. Their record now is nine wins and one defeat. However, they are still only joint top as Porta Tolle also won. Both are on 26 points, Tolle's record being eight wins and two draws (Venezia were docked one point for irregularities).

What a goal this is, from Teramo Calcio's Argentinean striker Gerardo Masini. Goal of the season, easily, if there's a better goal in Serie A I'd be very surprised!

Tomorrow (Wednesday) it's Seregno v. Caronnese at 4.50 p.m. GMT
Saturday Marsala v. Nuova Cosenza at 1 p.m.

Another 1-1 draw for Messina keeps them in eighth place.
Venezia won 2-1 and now go three points clear at the top as Porto Tolle lost their first game of the season.

Messina have been dealt a body blow with the deduction of six more points for irregularities. Coupled with yesterday's 1-1 draw it leaves them on 10 points and third from bottom. So tight is the league that this takes them from the fringes of the play off places deep into the relegation zone.
In contrast Venezia took another massive step forwards by beating their nearest rivals Porto Tolle away by 3-1. This puts the Arancioneroverdi six points clear at the top and ten points ahead of the third placed club.

This is not surprising as Messina have a history of these sort of un-professional like dealings. They never learn.

Messina won 2-1 on Sunday and move up one place to fourth bottom.
Venezia have now moved 8 points clear at the top of Girone C. They recorded a 6-2 victory while nearest challengers Porto Tolle could only draw.

A bad day at the office again for Messina as they lost 4-1. It leaves them fourth from bottom and still in the relegation play-out positions.
All hail Venezia, now 11 points ahead in the table after a 3-1 away win while nearest rivals Porto Tolle lost at home.

Stuck on 13 points (should be 20 which would have had us at 7th). They need to get a couple of wins in place to breathe a little easier and get out of this mess.
