Ohhhh I'm sorry, I may have been confused here. I thought we were accepting ties/dropping points against teams that don't have the "quality that Juve have". After accepting the Chievo tie I thought this would've been a good one to accept too.

I think this team has the players to finish 3rd but they don't have the mentality for it. I also think you should show some more respect towards the Americans on this forum. If not for us, you wouldn't have to luxury/freedom to be fishing all the time.

Back to my point about the mentality: Chiellini is an idiot. I've always said he's an average defender at best. He has the quality of being a starter on any team but by no means is he a star player or should be paid like one. Many of the defensive errors over the season has a lot to do with his stupidity marking an opponent who is driving in. Italy is going to take their chances having a back 4 that play for Juve?? That itself is very questionable. Also, how bad was Krasic coming off the bench?? He couldn't get into the flow of the game. He constantly lost possession and is to blame for that 2nd goal. I don't know what Conte asks of his midfielders but I'm afraid his system is hindering the growth of Krasic. Estegarribia was a big hustler and worked hard but every player should be playing like that. The only problem is that Estegarribia was terrible going forward and offered nothing in attack. Looks like Juve will have wasted another 25 mil on a player. I think Krasic is a superb player going forward. Not that offense is an issue but perhaps Conte should figure out how to have him on the field at the same time have a player cover him defensively . I believe he is a difference maker especially against smaller clubs. I dont' want him to be another victim of this lack of continuity at Juve with the constant coach changing.

I think red said it best when he said lictsteiner should not push forward as much as it pushes krasic inside and he's ineffective.
Also I don't think prandelli is choosing a juve back 4

The mistake was not signing another CB, so that chiellini could stay at LB
What happened with de ceglie?? And should juve have held on to ziegler??

The quiet acceptance of the draw at Chievo is because Juve went away to a place that is difficult to win at and completely controlled the game, even though they failed to get the goal.

The Genoa game, on the other hand, was at home and Juve got an early goal. They were disorgansised, rarely had control of the midfield and the defence wasn't nearly concentrated or aggressive enough.

Bit of an odd game, really.

Very dominant showing in the first half, with good pressing to win the ball back quickly. However, there was a lack of cutting edge given how much possession and territory Juve had.

It was predictable that Fiorentina would equalise, since Juve hadn't put the game away, but at least Juve reacted.

A lot of the defensive problems are being caused by Juve not winning enough headers. All too frequently to opposition is winning the high ball or the ball is being allowed to drop, which is just asking for trouble.

Very good game from Matri. Aside from the goal, he led the line excellently.

So Juve's next fixtures are: Inter, Napoli, Palermo, Lazio....

Napoli play in Munich the midweek before Juve play them, which should help Juve a bit.

I guess we're being realistic Dino. This team hasn't been consistent since 07. The only reason we're ok with a draw against chievo(NOT genoa), is because we know that the Juve of '07,'08,'09,and '10, would have gone away to chievo and lost. We're also starting to see a project that's headed in the right direction.
