Edzo, I wanted to disclose that I deleted that prick Vagginald's avatar of Klose celebrating that goal on Sunday night. I do not look at it as censorship but merely the best way I could cyber-punch him in the mouth. If he wants to mock me/us Roma fans, then I am not going to stand by and let him get away with it without some form of retribution.

I thought Jose Angel was poor alright, Romawi. He tried his best to be an attacking outlet for us down the left but was often isolated and had to go back, and in defense in had a shocker. I think he might be instructed to take his man on and create space for us in behind, but too often he lost the ball in dangerous positions which left us badly out of shape. He needs to improve his defensive game first and then worry about attacking.

lol, wtf is that avatar?! Where the fook did you find that? We already know the lazie bastards are all inbred, backward Deliverance -loving farmers who would get up on anything. I suppose its a very rare occasion when they win a Derby these days – this is the first one in six – and they only barely managed that playing against us down to 10 men for almost half the game and scoring with the last kick of the game. Clearly it'd be six in-a-row if not for that red card.

lol The official Roma twitter account has a statement from Borriello denying statements from him on twitter and he says he doesn't have a twitter account.

Lazio have overdone the derby celebrations and, in doing so, have exposed their small club mentality.

I still don't like Roma's system/style of play and can see it becoming a weakness once teams get properly accustomed to it.

azio's German international striker Miroslav Klose has disassociated himself from a fan banner linked to Nazi Germany.

An Associated Press photo showed Lazio supporters holding up a banner that said ''Klose mit uns'' - ''Klose with us'' - during Sunday's derby with Roma, with the S's written in old German script in the style of the SS.

The phrase is a takeoff on an old military slogan, ''Gott mit uns'' - ''God with us'' - that was also used by the Nazis.

The ANSA news agency reports Klose saying, ''Football cannot be mixed with politics. Politics should remain outside the stadium.''

Klose scored a last-minute winner in Lazio's 2-1 win in the derby, giving him six goals in eight matches in all competitions with Lazio since transferring from Bayern Munich.

BALDINI A TRIGORIA – Il nuovo direttore generale della Roma, Franco Baldini, ha varcato pochi minuti fa il cancello del centro sportivo ‘Fulvio Bernardini‘. Lo riferisce l’inviato di Romanews a Trigoria. Il primo passo dell’ormai ex general manager della nazionale inglese, è stato quello di recarsi nei spogliatoi, accompagnato dal direttore sportivo Walter Sabatini, per salutare i giocatori.


Baldini arrived at Trigoria today to start work as our new direttore general. He met the players and will attend training. He has a conferenza stampa scheduled for tomorrow at 1.30pm.

This piece doesn't mention it, but from what I can gather he hasn't severed all his ties with England as of yet, I don't think? I think he's staying as part of Capello's set up on a part-time basis until the Euro Championships. Does anyone know for certain? I don't think its ideal at all to have our direttore general distracted with these other obligations.

I'm pretty sure his agreement was that he would leave after England's Euro qualifiers.

On a different note, it seems that Sabatini was not happy with Osvaldo's tshirt, as he wants to discourage that sort of behaviour from the team.

Good point that it can spur the opposition into action, especially in the case of an early goal like Osvaldo's. But I get the feeling Totti will wear such shirts in order to make the most of his few remaining derby appearances (I hope he still has a few in him).
