i just don't want to see our centerbacks getting the most time on the ball. just look at the stats and see how many times our midfielders passed back to our defenders, that is a fucking joke. we had nobody playing between the lines and there was no movement in the midfield. nocerino keeps bombing forward but he can't do shit with the ball because his ball control is shit. it is such useless possession that it makes the game too fucking boring to watch.

one thing i like about shawarma is his movement, especially when he is working the channels he gets himself into pretty dangerous situations for the opposing defense. although i don't know how that characteristic of his will help him if he plays anywhere else besides a striker.

and the fact that we couldn't move the ball forward efficiently just means that our midfield can't create shit, and there is an over-reliance on our forwards to create chances. that is absolute bullshit, there must be more onus on the midfield to help the forwards into dangerous positions, but when we keep playing 3 defensively minded midfielders we're not gonna create shit from the midfield.

no, i'm not mad, i think the lineups played in the last few games have been forced due to the decimation of our squad, Allegri was forced into this and we have the same amount of points as we did this time last season.

i am incredulous of the idea that allegri was forced to play dm. he did that way too many times last year. he is a very negative tactician

"Very Negative" is too extreme IMO but for sure, by Milan's standards, he's conservative. His focus is on compact formation at the back first and foremost.

Fair to say that with this team we will never play like Carlo's Milan in their heyday. Even fairer to say is that Carlo's midfield had, at one time, the likes of Kaka, Rui Costa, Rivaldo, Seedorf, Pirlo with almost all being in their prime. Right now, even with a fully fit and healthy lineup, we don't even have a 1/4 of that quality in midfield. Our midfield is by far the weakest area. You only make do with what you have so the onous is on the management to do something about it. Let's not forget that we played like absolute crap in Carlo's last 3 years once those modfielders aged and the quality deteriorated, so you can only go as far as your players let you.

our CL list is a disaster of shortsightedness. zlatan may be back which would be great, considering we are playing against a minnow team of nobodies, which is where he usually shines

Looks like Zlatan will be fit to start, lets hope we do not pick up any more injuries, we need to get through the next 2 games and then our roster situation will be better.

This is a must-win game, in fact, if we're serious about winning the group, we must do all we can to rack up maximum points against the 2 minnows so that we're not behind Barca come Matchday 5.

I hope to see Tawio start this one, I know he didn't look at his finest in the weekend but this is to be expected on his full debut, he needs time to settle in and the only way he can do that is by getting the minutes.
