At one time the plan seemed to be to sign Lugano and send Sorensen out on loan, then Juve were trying to send Bonucci to Russia for Bruno Alves.

Bringing in Pirlo, Vucinic and Vidal has helped improve our squad's overall skill. However, we have not fixed the tactical problems we have had in past seasons. Elia is not a great player and my biggest fear is that he will play just well enough to eat up a salary for the next few seasons.

If you look at how Milan and Inter have spent their money, they are still completely superior to us. This is depressing. We used to make the best buys on the market. Now we are just filtering in more averageness.

Overrated 30 year olds? What a stupid comment. They dont have FIFA11 ratings in real life. People's character and presence actually have major affects on the players around them. Failing to sign Lugano and Alves was a monumental failure indeed. Barzagli is consistently OK. He is a good #3 CB. Bonucci should not be on a team like Juventus. He should be sold or loaned until he matures or just fails completely. Chiellini needs a composed, consistent leader next to him who has played in big games and can calm down and give peace to the hot-headed, but talented Giorgio.

This team continues to lack character. Our "youth movement" is fucking gay and annoying.

Forlan, Lugano, Nocerino, Alves, Taiwo, would have all been cheaper and better options that what we signed. This is a damn shame.

Why waste 9m on Elia? Just save the money if we are so broke and add it to next year's kitty. Does he really improve the squad that much?

More rumors that we're offloading Ziegler to Turkey (most probably Fenerbahce) because he doesn't fit Conte's plans. Ziegler might not be a top LB, but if we're going to depend on De Ceglie and Grosso for that position, Europa League qualification is going to be one tough motherf*cker. Since we also failed to buy a new CB, there is no way Chiellini should be LB. Hopefully these Ziegler transfer rumors are just that.

I don't understand why we would get rid of Zeigler. He actually looked better than De Cegli at LB imo. Plus i thought we were trying to rescind Grosso's contract.

Juve send trio to Turkey?



Fenerbahce confirm they are “in negotiations” with Juventus for Reto Ziegler, but Amauri and Luca Toni could also head to Turkey.
The transfer session has now closed in Italy, but the Turkish market is still open for a few more days and Serie A sides can sell abroad.

“We are in negotiations with Juventus for the player Reto Ziegler,” confirmed a statement from Fenerbahce.

A paid loan is the most likely option for the Swiss international full-back, though Trabzonspor are also said to be interested.

There are reports Juve could try to send another two players to Turkey, as they failed to shift them in the regular transfer session.

Amauri was bitterly criticised by the Bianconeri for refusing a series of offers, but could still exit Turin for Trabzonspor.

Veteran striker Toni is another candidate for Turkish football, as Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have set their sights on him.

Official: Juve's Ziegler to Fenerbahce

It is now official that Juventus have loaned Reto Ziegler to Turkish side Fenerbahce until the end of the season. The full-back had only just been snapped up on a free transfer from Sampdoria in June, but was told he did not feature in Coach Antonio Conte’s plans.

The transfer session is closed in most of Europe, but Turkey can still make signings for a few more days.

“Juventus Football Club announce Reto Ziegler has moved to Fenerbahce. The Swiss international joins the Turkish side on loan for €600,000 until June 30, 2012.”

It is widely reported Ziegler could soon be joined by fellow Juventus outcasts Amauri and Luca Toni in Turkey.
